With due respect, I would like to know that can a non-karnataka student write COMEDK exam? If so, when is the exam and when I can collect the application form?

yes offcourse,
forms are available online from 01.12.2009 to 31.12.2009,you can also get the form by sending a dd of rs.1500/- drawn in the favour of comedk payable at banglore.

in COMEDK exam no domecile raquired.Form can be downloaded from net in month of december.

yes ofcourse you are eligible. COMEDK UGET-2010 is likely to be conducted in the month of may and the application process will start by the month of march.

the important details regarding this exam are:

1)Applicants should have passed the 2nd PUC/12th STD or equivalent exams. Candidates who have appeared for the examination and expecting results may also apply.
2)Applications for Common Entrance Test are to be filled online on website (www.comedk.org) after obtaining a DD for Rs. 650/- for 3 subjects (PCM or PCB) and Rs. 850/- for all 4 subjects (PCMB),as it was last year.

hi you can write COMEDK as outside state student,
no domicile certificate is required for that.and the forms will be available online at
www.comedk.org
from the month of december 2009.
the cost of the form this year is rs.1500,which was 650 last year.

a common merit list is prepared for all the students writing the exam,so dont worry and just prepare well for the exam.

offcourse you are eligible...for comdek you must have indian nationality..so go for it

yes,there is no any problem,any one who is eligible for the engineering exam can give the exam of the COMEDK,because for this exam there is no nay need for the domicile certificate ,so do do not worry you are eligible for this exam,if you want to get more information then you can visits the websites..

But if you crack the exam then you can get

admission only in private collegesnot in government

Yes a non- karnatka student can give the COMEDK exam but they can take admission in only private college not in the government college because the seat of government college is reserved for Karnataka residential.
The COMEDK-2011 exam is on 8th may 2011. You can collect the application form by sending the DD to the COMEDK office.
