I am from andhra pradesh am I am preparing for medical entrance test.
Can other state students are eligible for kcet?
If eligible please provide the procedure?

I am sorry to say that you cannot apply for KCET examination being from another state as the eligibility criteria specifies that any candidate wishes to appear for the entrance examination should have studied and passed in one or more government or government recognized Institutions in the state of Karnataka for a minimum period of seven years. Therefore, if you fulfill the above mentioned critera, you can surely apply and if not, than I am sorry you cannot appear for the examination.

Procedure to apply:

You can apply for the examination by filling up the application form available at various Institutions withing the State and will have to submit a DD of the amount asked for and after successful completion of the procedure, you will be most eligible to appear fr the examination.

In order to be eligible to appear for KCET examination from other state you should have studied in any governmental or government recognized Institutions for more a minimum of 7 years. Therefore, in your case if you fulfill the criteria, therefore you are eligible and if not, then I am sorry to say that you cannot.

No. Candidates from other states than Karnataka are not eligible for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET).

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts KCET to offer admissions in various undergraduate as well as professional courses like Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga, Engineering, Technology, Architecture etc. in the state of Karnataka.

Because eligibility criteria of KCET says that candidate should have studied and passed in one or more government recognized educational institutions located in the karnataka for a minimum period of 7 academic years.

You said that you are from Andhra Pradesh, so you have not studied in government institutes of karnataka. This one leaves out you from eligibility criteria of KCET. It means you can't appear for KCET.

Our study from class VIII to XII completed in state of Karnataka under the guardianship of uncle who is working in BSF and living in STC BSF Qtr. Originally I belongs to Jharkhand. I passed Xth board from ISCE and XII board by CBSE. May I eligible for KCET?
