Sir, my date of birth is 16/09/1999. May I eligible to AP Eamcet 2016 or not? I want to make it sure that my age is not a problem.

EAMCET stands for Engineering Agricultural Medical Common Entrance Test. It is exam for admission in engineering and medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Telegana.

For engineering courses, you must have studied PCM subjects in 10+2 and for Medical courses, PCB subjects in 10+2 is necessary.

The eligibility to appear for examination is :-

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or diploma degree from a recognised board.

Candidates age must be minimum 16 years as on 31st December of year of admission in engineering or pharmacy courses. There is no upper age limit. The age must be 17 years for B.Tech (dairy, food and technology etc...) and D- Pharma courses.

Yes, you are eligible for AP EAMCET 2016 exam.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks from a recognized university with PCM or PCB subject are eligible for EAMCET 2016 exam.

Your age must be above 16 years.

The minimum age to appear for AP EAMCET 2016 is 17 years. So, candidate below 17 years are not eligible for this exam. It is essential for all the candidates to complete his/her 10+2 with science stream from recognized board and should have completed 17 years of his/her age in order to appear for this exam.

EAMCET stands for Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test and the same test is held for the selection of students for their admission in their interested course from colleges of Andhra Pradesh and Teleganna.

--> For appearing in the same examination the minimum qualifications which you must have are as here under :-

* You must be have the domicile of either of Andhra Pradesh or Teleganna.

* You must have either completed your higher secondary degree course or any equivalent degree course or must be in the final year of same degree course with the stream required for your desired higher degree course with a minimum of 50% aggregate from institutes affiliated to Central Board or AP board.

* Your age must be not below 17 years till the 31st December of that year in which you are appearing in the same examination. There is no upper age limit.

So having born on 16/09/1999 you are eligible for appearing in the EAMCET 2016 on the basis of age criteria required for the same as by the 31st December 2016 your age will be over 17 years.
