Yes, after completion of 12th standard, you can join Indian Army through NDA exam. So you can apply before closing date.

NDA Exam 2016 Important Dates (Tentative)
NDA Exam 2016 I Examination

Date of Notification – 2nd January 2016
Last date for filling application form – 29th January 2016
Examination Date –17th April 2016
NDA Exam 2016 II Examination

Date of Notification – 18th June 2016
Last date for filling application form – 15th July 2016
Examination Date – 18th September 2016

The candidate's who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
