Are candidates having PG in chemistry eligible for UPSC examination?
I am doing Post graduate in Chemistry. I want to know that Can I give UPSC exam & what's procedure of application of exam?

hi....
to be eligible to write the upsc exams an graduation degree is enough as you are in post graduation you are surely eligible for the upsc exams, you can give the ias or cds or any other exams provided you qualify the age and fitness criteria, you can find all the details about the upsc exams you log on to www.upsc.gov.in here you will get the complete information about all the exams conducted by upsc and the way to apply for them |

Hello friend,
The UPSC examinations are the most prestigious examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to various All India Services like: I.A.S., I.P.S., I.F.S.,I.R.S. etc.. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the UPSC exams is to have a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university. Notifications of these exams are published in the month of December generally and also in the job magazines. Application form along with the information brochure can be collected from the designated post offices all over the country against cash payment of Rs.20. So you can apply for this exam as you have completed your graduation. The exam is carried out in three stages: 1.Civil Services Preliminary Exam(Generally held during month of May) 2.Civil Services Main Exam(Held during October/November) 3.Interview and Final selection(Conducted during month of April/May) For more detials you can log in to: www.upsc.gov.in all the best!! |

To be eligible for UPSC exams you need to have bachelors degree. Educational Qualifications for UPSC EXAM : Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university Application procedure:You can apply online aswell as offline.

Hi friend
UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission.UPSC conducts the entrance exams like CDS, IPS, IAS,ESE, IFS etc. For sit in these entrance exams,the candidates must have the graduation degree. You have the PG degree,then you are surely give these exams. But you have to check your age.every exam having the different age limit. For CDS maximum age is 22 and 3 years relaxation for OBC. And 5 years for SC candidated for IPS,IAS the age limit lies between 22-30 years. And same age relaxation for SC and OBC. GOOD LUCK |
