Sorry to say this you are not eligible to apply for NDA examination because NDA examination is only for Unmarried male candidates not for female candidates.So you can't apply for NDA examination.

NDA i.e National Defence Academy Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as namely NDA I and NDA II.

Eligibility Criteria :-

~~Higher Secondary Level with any desire subject from a recognized School for Indian Army candidates.

~~Intermediate with Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory Subjects from a recognized School or equivalent qualification for Air force or Navy candidates.

~~You must have attained the age of 16.5 years and 19 years at the time of appearing for this examination.

~~Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA examination and female candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination.

~~Final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for NDA examination.

I am sorry to say that girl can not join Army through N.D.A.
If you want to join then you can join after graduation.

If you want to join Indian Defence then you can apply after passing graduation with any stream.
After that you have to qualify the C.D.S exam.

C.D.S exam is conduced by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

The age limit for C.D.S exam is 19-24 year.

nda Airforce,Army,Navy & Navel Academy.


Qualification – The candidate must have passed 12th class with around 55% aggregate from a recognized university or college.


Age limit- Only unmarried male candidate whose age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years are eligible.

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age.

Girls can join Defence after completion of Graduation in any stream from a recognised University through CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam.

hi there,No girls are not allowed to apper in NDA NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY only boys are eligible only the male candidates are allowedQualifications Required for the Nda exam :-The Candidate must be pass in 12th board exam-The Candidate must have physics and mathsas subjects at 12th level-The Candidate age should be 16.5-19-The candidate should be unmarried-Only male candidates are allowed for the examgood luck...

Girls are not eligible for NDA exam. Only male candidate who are unmarried are eligible for this exam.
