I am a commerce graduate and i want to serve my country and would like to join CID or any service who serve the country. How can i apply for the same.

Dear,

CID means Criminal Investigation Department.

CID exam conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

For joining CID you can fight UPSC exam.

Minimum Educational Eligibility For CID: -

1. For CID constable - Passed 12th standard from a regonised board.

2. For CID Sub Inspector - He / She should have passed graduation in criminology, arts or science from a regonised institute / university.

After graduation in commerce, you are not eligible for CID exam.

CID does not have direct recruitment procedure.
Recruitments are at three levels
UPSC- Through IPS,Indian Police Service.YOU have to appear for Civil services Exam
and be in top 200 to get IPS rank.
State Examinations-like BPSC/KPSC etc. Recruitment is done by police Headquarters and here again you have to be in top ranks
For both the above the minimum qualification is Graduation which you fulfill.
further officers selected from above are sometimes given special deputation in CID.
People from CID generally work undercover in plain clothes
Also referred to AS CB-CID in some states.
Qualification for above Sub-Inspector rank is Graduation.
So you are totally eligible.

Sir, i am working in Mil Int therefore ho i apply in CBCID in UP or other state but my choice in UP state now my service is 09 years? I have int courses through army.

Yes , commerce graduation are eligible for CID exam.

A candidate can apply for the CID through SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination. This examination is conducted by the SSC every
year. You can apply for this examination after the completion of your graduation.

QUALIFICATION: The minimum Qualification needed to sit in this exam is to be Graduate enough in any Discipline.

AGE: You should be in between 20 to 27 years of Age. & special Relaxation is given to SC/ST which is 5 years and For OBC 3 years.
