the eligibility for genetic engineering is
one should have passed12th with biology as on e of the subjects,and should have respective csertificate.
CUORSE OUTLOOK:
duration of the cousre is 3 years,generally divided into 3 part of 1 year each.after 1 year exams will be held ,on the basis of that he/she will be eligible to next year.

JOBS:
one can work in research institutes owned by government or private firms. one can also go on in teaching professions.

Pune university ,offer pg and ug level courses in genetics ,minimume 55% u need in 12th ,a separate test conducting by university ,just prepare for biology (specially genetics, biochemistry ,physiology), chemistry ,and physics, multiple choice of paper
