I would like to raise one question. Are commerce graduates are eligible to get into Indian Navy. Because lot many times I have seen that they only prefer Science streams. I am not sure whether they prefer commerce grad. If yes so please tell me for what kind of post they hire, And please send it to my mail, "[email protected]". I will be helpful to you.

You are right about the preference for science background candidates for navy. Commerce graduates are eligible for posts in Supply and Stores wing. But the vacancy for these posts are limited. You could try out other career options like securities trading, accountancy

A commerce graduate can join Indian Navy under Short Service Commission provided the candidate holds a first class degree. Such candidates are eligible to join the logistics department of Indian Navy.The minimum eligible age is 19 1/2 years and the maximum age limit is 25.

Yes any graduate whether science or commerce can join Naval Force. But the preference may be science but in many cases no selection based on stream is there. So you should try to get through.

Indian Navy under various entry schemes. The various entry
scheme for the B.Com candidates for the Indian Navy is given
below:

Type Of Entry: Short Service Commission Logistics
You can apply for the Logistic officer in Indian Navy after
the completion of your graduation.
The candidate should have a minimum of 55% marks in
graduation.This entry scheme is for both male and female
candidates.

Age Limit
Candidate applying for the above entry scheme should have
age between 19.5 to 25 years.
