can i join in indian navy completing 12th in commerce.
I am very interested in indian navy because
i feel very proude to see our indian navy.
Plere give me answer sir. how to join in indian navy.

To join in Indian Navy, you need to appear in NDA entrance examination which is conducted by UPSC twice a year for candidates who are interested to join in Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings. Following is the eligibility criteria required to appear in NDA examination is mentioned below :-

Eligibility Criteria :-
1. Nationality :-
You must be a citizen of India.

2. Educational Qualification :-
(i) For Army wing :- You must have completed 12th standard or equivalent in any stream from a recognised University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings :- You must have completed 12th standard or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics subjects from a recognised university.

3. Age Limit :-
You must have attained the age of 16 1/2 years and must not have attained the age of 19 years.

4. You must be an Unmarried Male candidate.

Since, you have completed your 12th standard in Commerce stream, you are not eligible to join in Indian Navy because to join in Indian Navy, you must have completed 12th standard or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics subjects from a recognised board.

No, you are not eligible for Indian Navy after completing 12th in Commerce stream. Only those candidates who have passed 12th standard in science stream can apply.

CDS Exam Eligibility:

Indian Navy Academy:

Nationality: Applicant must be Indian citizen.
Educational Qualification: Applicant have to passed graduation in science stream with Physics and Mathematics from any well recognized university.
Age limit: Applicant age should be in between 19 years to 22 years.

So, being a Commerce stream candidate you are ineligible to apply for Indian Navy wing. However, you are eligible to join in Indian Army wing through CDS entrance exam.

No, 12th standard with commerce department candidates are not eligible for Indian Navy through NDA exam.

NDA examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. NDA exam is conducted for recruitment in-Army wings, Navy wings, Air force wings.

The minimum required qualification for NDA exam is 12th standard from a recognized board. If your 12th subject is mathematics and Physics then you are eligible for all above wings otherwise you can apply only for Indian Army. The candidates age should be in between 16.5 years to 19 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidate. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply in NDA exam.

Written test
Physical test
Medical test
Interview

You are not eligible to apply for India Navy after the completion of your 12th standard from commerce stream. Because, to join in Indian Navy, you have to clear NDA exam. To apply for NDA, You should be a candidate, who have completed 12th or equivalent with Physics & Maths subjects. Due to these reasons, you cannot apply for NDA exam. And you are eligible to join in Indian Navy.

You are not eligible for Navy after 12th commerce.
Following are the criteria for NDA:
Age limit 16.5-19 years.
Candidate should be unmarried and male.
Educational qualification: For army wing 12pass or appearing from any stream.
For Navy and Airforce,12pass or appearing with Physics and Maths as subject.
You are eligible only for Army with commerce background.

Even after Graduation you can not go for Navy or Airforce as officer.You can get job there either in logistics or in accounts department and not through CDS or TGC etc.

Remember to join in Indian navy after 12th , the candidates who have taken PCM subjects in 12th are eligible. But , commerce students are not eligible to join in Navy.

So , you should go for Graduation now to join in Navy . After graduation , you can apply for different posts as well as cds exam to join in Navy.

Cds stands for Combined defence service exam . The exam will be held by upsc , twice in every year.

To join in indian navy through cds exam , age shouldbe in between 19-22 years only
You shouldbe an unmarried candidate.
you shouldbe a citizen of india


** You should complete graduation from a Recognised university to apply for the exam .

2) ssb interview
3) medical test

Hello Sir I am Sakshi Singh. I am a commerce student and don't have maths in 12th and now i am doing BCA can i join a indian navy. My date of birth is 18th august 1999 are i am eligible for it and i have passed 12th with 67% and i am unmarried . Because i am very much interested in navy

Dear Friend.

I am sorry to say that you can not join Indian Navy either by NDA or CDS or
by other exams for Defense sector.

For Indian Navy Physics and Maths are compulsory subject in 12th class.

So, being a commerce student you can not apply for Indian Navy.

Only unmarried male candidate can apply for NDA.

However this boundation of gender is not in CDS.

But you commerce background is main reason for not elligible to appear in
any exam for joining Indian Navy.

You must look towards other sector related to commerce background such as
banking or Chartered Accountant course etc.

Sir recently I have passed 12 class with commerce stream 70% is I am eligible for logistic department of Indian Navy or eligible for sailor in Indian Navy.

You must be an Unmarried Male candidate. Since, you have completed your 12th standard in Commerce stream, you are not eligible to join in Indian Navy because to join in Indian Navy, you must have completed 12th standard or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics subjects from a recognised board.

Sir i have completed by graduation from commerce stream and i m really very intrested in navy . Can i apply any post in navy like B or C grade type vacancies ??
