Is it compulsory to do BEd to become a permanent staff member in CBSE school having 25 years of teaching experience?
Hello, I am teaching from last 25 years. I did DEd course and teaching in a CBSE school on temporary base. I want to make it permanent. So, I need to know that is it compulsory to do BEd course for becoming permanent staff member?

No, it is not compulsory to have B.Ed degree from recruitment as permanent teacher in CBSE affiliated school.
But, with D.Ed qualification you are eligible for only as primary teacher not eligible for TGT or PGT. You also have to qualify in CTET after B.Ed course for recruitment. For more details visit at www.ctet.nic.in. |

Yes, you are eligible for recruitment as permanent teacher in government after qualifying in CTET examination.
As per your qualification you can appear in CTET examination conducted by CBSE for recruitment as primary teacher. So, you can appear in examination. For recruitment as TGT or PGT you have to pursue bachelor degree and B.Ed course. |
