Hello friend,
NET is conducted by UGC to determine the eligibility for lectureship. The minimum educational qualification required for the test is a masters degree with a minimum of 55% for candidates belonging to general category and 50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST. The examination is conducted in Humanities, Social Science, Environmental Science, Forensic Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Science. Examination in subjects such as Life Science, Physical Science, Chemical Science, Methematical Science and Earth Atmospheric Ocean & Planetary Science are jointly conducted by UGC and The Council of Scientific and Industrial research (CSIR).
