Hi friends, kindly let me know that which course I should select after completion of my 12th which I am doing with PCM stream to become an Astronaut? My dream is to become an Astronaut so I want to know about the course through which I can achieve my aim.

To become an astronaut choose a scientific field for your bachelor's degree that you can use if you become an astronaut . Possibility include Medicine, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Aerospace Engineering and Mathematics.

In order to become an astronaut, you have to pass a bachelor's degree in any if the following courses like Engineering, Biological Science, Physical Science, Mathematics from a well recognised University.
Your degree must be followed by at least 3 years of related professional experience or at least 1000 pilot in command time in jet aircraft.
An advanced degree is desirable and may be substituted for experience as follow:

one year of experience for Masters degree and 3 years experience for Doctoral degree.

Physical requirements:

Standing height between 62 and 75 inches.

Blood pressure not to exceed 140 / 90 measured in a sitting position.

Distant and near visual acuity must be correctable to 20 by 20 each eye.
