hi,im Dr.madhuri.,completed my b.d.s.,and presently working in a private dental college as an lecturer.i want to continue my career in academics,not in clinics.so,please kindly suggest me some career courses in which i could do my masters and continue my career in academics only.

You can do specialisation in following fields:

Pediatrics:
A pediatrician deals with the children’s health from newborn to adolescents.

Cardiology:
Cardiology deals with disorders of the heart.

Obstetrics and Gynecology:
Obstetricians and Gynecologists diagnose and treat the disorders in female reproductive organs.

Neurosurgery:
Neurosurgery is the surgical discipline focused on treating the central and peripheral nervous system.

Ophthalmologists:
Ophthalmologists diagnose and conduct treatment for the diseased human eye.

Psychiatry:
A medical doctor who has specialized in Psychiatry is called Psychiatrist. A psychiatrist treats mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.

you can go with same ....and become a spacilist...

After completing BDS, you can go for higher studies in dentistry, gynecology, cardiology, psychiatry and other medical fields. Master’ degree in dentistry is a good option if you do the same in U.S.A. Excellent opportunities are there in India and abroad. A master’s degree in Healthcare Management is also a good career option for you. This will help you to get an exposure in Hospital administration and all other healthcare systems.
