Quote:
So this time also you have to score more then 60% marks to get selected for the SSB interview. In the Air force common admission test following topics are asked by the candidates: (a) General Awareness (b) Verbal Ability in English (c) Numerical Ability (d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test So you have to prepare your self in the above topics to get selected for the SSB interview. Re: Cutoff marks fof different category of AFCAT?
Pattern of AFCAT: It consists of 100 questions of duration 2 hours and each question carry 3 marks. Thus AFCAT is a 300 mark test. This examination consists of four sections as below: General Awareness English language. Numerical Ability. Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test. Cut off marks :: There is sectional cutoff in the examination .Last year the cutoff the examination is 145 marks which means that if you score more then 45 or 505 then there are much chances of you to clear the written examination of the AFCAT. You have to appear in PABT (Pilot Aptitude Battery Test) if you had opted for Flying branch and after that AFSB Interview You have to take Engineering Knowledge Test if you had opted for Technical branch and after that AFSB Interview After you clear all these obstacles, you have to undergo the Medical examination. Eligibility for the exam ::As the examination is done for all three branches so their eligibility criteria is also different . Ground Duty Branches Your age should be between 20-27 You should have the PG or Bachelor degree in any subject with at least 60% aggregate marks. Flying Branch You should be between 19 to 23 years. You must must have the B.E / B.Tech degree or a Graduate in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate marks and should have maths and physics as a compulsory subjects. Technical Branch You must be between 18-28 years of age You should have done your Engineering with minimum 60% marks. |
