There are two exam in the year for admission in the CPT.
the exam dates are:

June Examination
June 5th, 2011; June 3rd, 2012.

December Examination
December 4th, 2011; December 2nd, 2012

Notification for CPT June exam has been published officially. You can download it from this Attachment, & Alternatively the candidate may fill up the examination application form online at www.icaiexam.icai.org from 4thApril,2011 ( 10:00 hrs) to 25thApril, 2011 ( 17:30hrs) and remit the fee online by using either VISA or Master Credit / Debit Card.

In contrast to CPT Exam, One pencil mode exam is there on 19 June 2011

How to Apply: Application form duly filled accompanied through self-attested Xerox copies of the relevant certificates/ testimonials, along with a crossed DD of Suggested fee send to Below Given address:

i think that there will be test/ exam in paper-pencil mode only and there will not be any separate test as online exam.
But the application forms will be in paper-pencil mode and as well as online. and follow up the above given dates. examination on 19 june 2011

The Dates Of Online CPT Exams, Was Not Finalize Yet, Because Of Some Technical Issues. So, I Will Suggest You Just Wait For Few Month, I Think It Will Be Announced Soon.

So, When ThE Problem Was Solved, The Final Dates Of Online CPT Exams Was Updated On The Official Websites.

So, Keep Visit the Official Website Regularly, To Get the Dates Regarding Online CPT Examinations.

But The Pencil Paper Mode Examination Will Continue to be Held in June and December.

The decision of the Institute to admit a candidate to either Online Test in August/ September/October/November 2009 or Paper-Pencil Mode Test in December-2009 is final and no correspondence for change of Test / Centre etc. will be entertained under any circumstances. The medium of Test for Online CPT would be ENGLISH only.
