Both IAS and RAS exams are conducted by UPSC .
eligibility criteria for both are same - 1.Graduation from any recognized university . 2.Age limit = 21 to 30 years for general (5 years relaxation for sc/st and 3 years relaxation for obc) 3.number of permissible attempts = 4 times for general and 7 times for sc/st/obc. 4.Fee = 100/- for general (no fee for sc/st/obc) The notifications for those exams are published in employment news on the first week of February . Dear friend, IAS exam is conducted by upsc once a year for offering central services to 28 posts. For this exam, you really have to prepae hard since its is the exam of highest repute in India.
First of all you have to qualify CSAT or IAS pre exam, then you have to qualify mains if successful in pre. After qualifying in mains also, you are screened through an interview. After that a merit list is prepared and accordingly merit list is prepared. For more , visit www.upsc.gov.in The Preliminary Examination shall now comprise of two compulsory Papers of 200 marks each and of two hours duration each. Detailed below is the new syllabus and pattern of the Preliminary Examination, which is brought to the notice of the prospective candidates intending to appear at the Civil Services Examination (CSE) in 2011 onwards: Paper I - (200 marks) Duration: Two hours Current events of national and international importance History of India and Indian National Movement Indian and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic geography of India and the World. The IAS(INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE) is conducted by the UGC(UNIVERSITY GRANTS COMMISSION) every year.
The Eligibility details of the IAS exam is as follows: * Candidates must have completed GRADUATION with at least 60% of marks. * Must have 21 years of Age. * Maximum 30 years of age for General category students. * Age relaxation is provided for Reserved categories. * 5 years for SC/ST categories. * 3 years for OBC categories. * 10 years for PH categories. Thus the above mentioned are the details of the IAS EXAM.There are two exams conducted PRELIMINARY and MAIN EXAMINATION.Candidates who have passed preliminary exams are only eligible for the MAIN examination.The candidates who have passed the MAIN exam are eligible for the INTERVIEW process. RAS exam details:-
The minimum educational qualification is graduation from any recognised university. Percentage is not important to appear this exam. Candidate must be a citizen of india. Age limits are 21 to 30years, 3 years relaxation for OBC, 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates. IAS exam details:- The Eligibility details of the IAS exam is as follows: * Candidates must have completed GRADUATION with at least 60% of marks. * Must have 21 years of Age. * Maximum 30 years of age for General category students. * Age relaxation is provided for Reserved categories. * 5 years for SC/ST categories. * 3 years for OBC categories. * 10 years for PH categories. |
