Dear friend,

Only graduate persons are eligible for IAS exam.IAS exam is conducted by UPSC.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IAS EXAM:-

(i) Age limits :
Your age should be between 21-30 years . (Upper age limit relax able for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories ).

(ii) Educational Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

(iii) No. of permissible attempts :
Four of general category. (Seven attempts of OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs )

RAS Stands for Rajasthan Public Service Commission and IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service.

>> To apply for both these examination you need to complete Your Graduation degree course form a recognised University. IAS Examination was Conducted by UPSC Every year and for this examination candidates age should between 21 to 30 years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

But to apply for RAS Examination your age should between 21 to 35 years.

>> For Both these examination you need to complete your Graduation degree course because graduation is the minimum Eligiblity Criteria to apply for UPSC Civil services examination.

you should satisfy the following criterion in order to appear for the Civil Service Exams :-
1)you should be a graduate from any stream from a recognized college of India
2)you should be within the age limit of 21-30 years..
the 1st round is meant to test your aptitude,general knowledge and current affairs
2nd round will test your graduation subjects then interview..

It is very nice to see that you want to become an IAS or RAS officer and want to serve the nation.

Information about IAS:-
To apply for the post of IAS you have to appear for the Civil service examination conducted by UPSC every year.
The eligibility criteria to apply for the examination is that a candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university in any stream.The age of the candidate must be between 21 years to 30 years.Age relaxation is given to the SC/ST and OBC candidates as par govt. rule.Notification of the examination will come out in the month of February next year.

Information about RAS:-
RAS stands for Rajasthan Public Service Commission.To appear for the RAS examination the candidate must be a graduate from any recognize institute and has age between 21-34 years.

Both IAS and RAS exams are conducted by UPSC .
eligibility criteria for both are same -
1.Graduation from any recognized university .
2.Age limit = 21 to 30 years for general (5 years relaxation for sc/st and 3 years relaxation for obc)
3.number of permissible attempts = 4 times for general and 7 times for sc/st/obc.
4.Fee = 100/- for general (no fee for sc/st/obc)

Dear friend, IAS exam is conducted by upsc once a year for offering central services to 28 posts. For this exam, you really have to prepae hard since its is the exam of highest repute in India.

English language only without providing Hindi translation thereof in the question

Eligibility needed is only of graduation from a recognised univ. with age between 21-30 years. No of attempts are 4 for general , 7 for 0bc and no restriction to SC/ST.

The IAS(INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE) is conducted by the UGC(UNIVERSITY GRANTS COMMISSION) every year.

The Eligibility details of the IAS exam is as follows:

* Candidates must have completed GRADUATION with at least 60% of marks.

* Must have 21 years of Age.

* Maximum 30 years of age for General category students.

* Age relaxation is provided for Reserved categories.

* 5 years for SC/ST categories.

* 3 years for OBC categories.

* 10 years for PH categories.

Thus the above mentioned are the details of the IAS EXAM.There are two exams conducted PRELIMINARY and MAIN EXAMINATION.Candidates who have passed preliminary exams are only eligible for the MAIN examination.The candidates who have passed the MAIN exam are eligible for the INTERVIEW process.

But you have only 50% in your graduation,so you are not eligible for IAS Exam.
