MAT stands for Management Aptitude Test . The Examination is conducted by All India Management Association .

The Examination is conducted four times in a year during the month of February , May , September , and December .

The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University .

Final year student in any undergraduate can also apply.There is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation which is different for different management institutes and universities.

Pattern for MAT Examination :-

Total number of questions: 200; 40 in each section
Duration of the MAT: 150 minutes.
Marking: 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 negative marking on wrong answers.

• Language Comprehension - 40 Questions
• Mathematical Skills - 40 Questions
• Data Analysis and Sufficiency - 40 Questions
• Intelligence and Critical Reasoning - 40 Questions
• Indian and Global Environment - 40 Questions.

Notification MAT Exam :-

• Last date for online registration: Wednesday , November 14, 2012
• Last date for submission of filled in online registration forms at AIMA, New Delhi: Saturday, November 17, 2012
• Paper based test date:Sunday, December 02, 2012
• Computer based test date: Saturday, December 08, 2012

TO JOIN THIS EXAM,
*you must be graduate from a recognized university in any stream

*final year student are also eligible for this exam

how to apply;-
1-.Obtain DD of 1200 Indian rupees in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi in any bank,then open the website www.aima-ind.org/matdec12,fill the options as per given along with DD Details
or
2.Obtain form with MAT Bulletin by paying 1200 Indian rupees from branches of Axis bank and bank of baroda
or
3.Pay 1200 Indian rupees by using Credit card in official website of www.aima-ind.org/matdec12

Last Date for Online Registration and Sale of applications form: 14-09-2012
Last Date for submission of MAT Online Registration Forms: 17-09-2012
MAT December 2012 Paper Based Test: 2-12-20122012 at 10am to 12:30 pm
