My sister had passed BDS from DJ Dental College of Sciences & Research,Modinagar,Ghazibad(UP) in the year of 2014 and completed her Internship in July'2015 from there and now she wants to be Registered herself at DENTAL COUNCIL OF INDIA with intend to PRACTICE ALL OVER INDIA.Henceforth,kindly guide me the detailed PROCEDURE for getting REGISTRATION with DCA as well as kindly clarify & advise me that whether initially her Registration from a State Dental Council is compulsory?In that very case,kindly also guide me that in which STATE she can be Registered ?,whenever she belongs to THE STATE OF BIHAR & passed BDS from THE STATE OF UTTAR PRADESH & she is inclined for Practice at DELHI itself.I WILL BE HIGHLY OBLIGED;KINDLY RESPOND ME QUICKLY,TREATING IT MOST URGENT Please!

And Completed my internship from same college and got the Provisional degree from ayush and health sciences university Chhattisgarh. And I want to get registration in west bengal state. We belongs to Kanpur but I am staying in Gurgaon because of my job in Gurgaon. That's why she has Aadhaar with address of Gurgaon (Haryana) but my permanent address is in Kanpur (UP). Please let me know that if my daughter can get registration in your Council. If yes, pl let me know the procedure (On-Line or Off-Line)

One can get registered at any state council and practice all over India in any state as a registered Dentist. There is no need to register in that particular state where you want to practice as a Dentist. All you need to have is registration at Dental Council of India. Even Dental Council of India has given the clarification in this subject in an RTI reply.

As per Dental Council of India (DCI) guidelines on 28th August 2015, any dentist registered with any state dental council can practice in any state of India. So you can register with Gurgaon (Haryana) state and take a transfer once if you back to Kanpur (UP) state. Here I am providing the DCI registration process in the state of Gurgaon (Haryana). You can register through both online or offline mode.

Online Registration process of Haryana State Dental Council:

1) Visit the official website of Haryana State Dental Council and Click the link "New Registration" ( http://haryanastatedentalcouncil.org.in).
2) You can see Appointment page which shows timing available for booking. You have to selected the place of timing where you want to book.
3) Make sure that your name entered in the application form and name in the University should be the same.
4) Attach the copies of certifications to the application which includes, Passing certificate and Completion of Internship Certificate, etc.
5) Two Passport size color photographs should be attached to the application form.
6) You have to select the field you want to register as a Dentist or Hygienist or Mechanic or DORA.

How do I register so I can practice in India?
