The AIPMT forms are to be filled online. The application fees can be submitted through demand draft/credit card/ debit card. The application fee is Rs.1000/-. The draft can be taken from any nationalized bank. The draft is to be taken in favor of Secretary, CBSE. You should write your name, contact number, address and application number on the back side of the demand draft. You should send the demand draft along with the print out of the confirmation page. You can get all other details in the official web site of AIPMT.

i tuk draft from IDBI for AIPMT. Will that draft accepted or not?

Details About AIPMT

The All India Pre Medical Test 2012 is going to be conducted in 2 stages :-

Prelims which is going to be conducted on 1st April,2012

Mains which will be held on 13th May,2012

The last date to apply for the forms of AIPMT is 2nd February,2012

The duly filled AIPMT forms along with the demand draft has to be sent to the following address :-

Candidates need to answer 200 questions in the Preliminary Exam and 120 questions in the Mains

The duration for both the exams is 3 hours and there will be 4 options given for each questions out of which only one would be correct..

Each question will carry 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted from your score for every incorrect response..

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AIPMT EXAM
Those candidate have completed 12th standard are eligible for AIPMT exam but your 12th standard subject must be Physics , Chemistry , Bio logy and English.

Also you must score 50% in all above mention subjects.

For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.

AGE CRITERIA

Your age should be in between 17 - 26 years.

AIPMT , DD is made by SECRETARY, CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION, DELHI payable at New Delhi.

The fee structure for the application form is as follows:

• For general candidates the fee is Rs. 700/-
• For Sc/St Candidates the fee is Rs. 350/-
• For OBC Candidates the fee is Rs. 700/-

Steps to be followed if fee is paid through demand Draft:
1.if you want to remmit the fee by demend draft , get it ready before filling application form
2.logon to the AIPMT website , fill the application form , note down the registration number which would be generated by system and required for payment of fee
3.fill the details of demand draft
4.take four printout of confirmation page and a printout of address slip and the confirmation page as per instructions

AIPMT stands for the All India Pre Medical Test. Its an entrance exam which is conducted mainly by the AIIMS to select candidates for the various medical courses in the colleges all over India.


-->> The Basic Eligibility Criteria to apply for this exam is that one should be a minimum 12th pass with science + biology subjects from any recognized school or state board and have scored more than 50% aggregate in it.

The pattern of the exam is in two parts : PRELIMS AND MAINS

The Prelims would be held on 1st April 2012 and the Mains exam would be held on 13th May 2012

-> Both the papers would be objective type with 4 options out of which only 1 would be correct.

-> Negative marking would be done for each wrong answer you give deducting 1/4th of the marks of that question from your total till that question


You have to apply before the due date which is 25th January 2012.
