Re: Difference between MBA and Engineering Students?
Dear friend,
There is a lot of difference in engineering student and in MBA student. Any graduate student (with Arts/Science/Commerce) can take admission in MBA. Where as in engineering only 10+2 (with Physics,Chemistry and Maths) can take admission. Engineering student can take admission in MBA after completing engineering. Where as MBA student can not take admission in the Engineering. Because both the lines are different. Engineering student study the technology and MBA student study the management. I think this is the only difference in both. |

Re: Difference between MBA and Engineering Students?
hi...
first of all let me make you one think very clear that there is no way of making comparison between the two courses because MBA is an post graduation course where as engineering is an graduation course, also most of the MBA students are engineers only, if you ask professionally then there may be difference in what an engineering graduate and mba graduate does, and the difference is also very simple an engineering students sees the technical aspects of the work where as an mba student will see the management part |

Re: Difference between MBA and Engineering Students?
Engineering students have technical knowledge as they study about technology. They have less knowledge on management and on commercial issue.
And it is just vice-versa for MBA students. |

Re: Difference between MBA and Engineering Students?
yes there is so much difference for MBA students and Engineering students.
MBA people they are the upcoming managers and they are going to manage several other persons under them. In addition, MBA people may be in touch with various functional departments in an organization like finance, marketing,hr, operations, production, R&D, quality control etc. They will bring coordination among these departments and try to see that organization will maintain better communication from one department to other which will lead to the success of the organization. Where as engineering students, they are expertise only in their technical subject. They will work only in that department. Indirectly we can say that mba candidates are going to manage engineering students and try to get maximum out of them. |

Re: Difference between MBA and Engineering Students?
MBA(Masters of Business Administration) way differs from Engineering....
MBA is a field of management where the main aim is to manage the organisation work smoothly and effectively... and Engineering is a field where they take care of machinery, computers, communications, coding and all those engineering stuffs... it can be said that MBA holders can have more knowledge if he holds engineering degree also.. then he is aware of both the fact and that is better for the company..that's why students who have both engineering and MBA degree get more chance in a firm or company and their salary range is high also.. good luck... |

Re: Difference between MBA and Engineering Students?
ENGINEERING Engineering deals with the technical knowledge about Physics, Chemistry, Maths. It has got core subjects in it like Civil, Mechanical, Electronics, Computers etc. Another main difference is that engineering B .E and B.Tech are both Bachelors courses, if you compare it with the Masters of Business Administration. MBA - Masters in Business Administration MBA deals with the works of big MNC's and the office jobs. Managerial posts need MBA professionals. Now again MBA is a masters program, and it can be done after B tech engineering also. Hope this explains. Regards RJ |
