Yes, you can do diploma in computer science course after passing 10th standard. But such short term diploma courses done through correspondence mode will be of little help to you.

If you want to pursue your career in computer science then it would be better to do some professional course like MCA or MSc.(IT) or MBA (IT). It will increase your career prospect.

But for this you need to study 12th & then enroll for some graduate courses like BCA or BSc(IT) or WIPRO's WASE programme.

yes you can do the diploma with any branch.
but that will be depend on the marrit list of the board.

Yes, after 10th you can surely go for Diploma. but doing a technical course via distance is not a good choice. As this is your first important course and it is technical which involves a lot of real time lab operations;
real time interactions with lecturers are very crucial as far as your knowledge enhancement is concerned.
so i will say first try for a regular course and then only think about a distance options.
