No diploma candidates are not eligible for IES Entrance Examination. Only Graduation course in Engineering specialization candidates are eligible for IES Entrance Examination.

IES stands for Indian Engineering Service and this Entrance Examination is Conducted by Union Public service for every year. This Entrance Examination held every years.

IES Conducts Entrance Examinations for Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering etc.

Those candidates who have yet to qualify in the Engineering course (B.tech/BE) or equivalent examination and are allowed to appear in the IES Entrance Examination. Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this IES Entrance Examination.

Age limit for IES Entrance Examination required between 21 years and 30 years for General category candidates and Upper age relaxation will be applicable for sc/st candidates and obc candidates.

So, It's Clear there is no issue with you're Educational qualification, But, You have to satisfy the age criteria. So, If you satisfy the both the Educational and Age limit then definitely you're applicable for IES Entrance Examination.

The Selection Procedure for this Entrance Examination is divided into Written Exam and Personality Test

The Written exam having two sections namely, Objective Papers which include General Ability Test and General English, General Studies etc..
