Sir, I had been completed in 12th exam and then completed direct 2nd year mechanical engineering diploma. So, now I have file the RTO exam form. So, can I?

As per the minimum eligibility criteria, candidate must have a degree in any discipline from a recognised University with at least 50% marks in order to apply for RTO examination. As you have completed your diploma so you are not eligible to apply for RTO exam but after completing your graduation you will be eligible. Minimum age should not be less than 21 and maximum should not exceed 32 years.

The eligibility criteria is as follows:

You must be an Indian citizen.

The minimum age must be 21 years and maximum should not exceed 30 years.

You must have a minimum graduation from a recognised University.

The minimum percentage must be 50% in Academics.

There will be an age relaxation for the reserved candidates.

No, being a 2nd year Mechanical Engineering student, you are not eligible to apply for RTO examination. You should have passed Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Automobile Engineering course from a recognised institute. The age criteria required to apply for RTO examination is 18 to 35 years. So, being a Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering, you have to complete B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering course to be eligible to apply for RTO examination.
