Which discipline to be chosen in GATE exam if I have done my Ph.D in Environmental Engineering?


I want to done my PhD in environmental engineering.For that I will be appear for Gate examination. But I am confused in choosing the discipline for appearing examination. Which discipline should i chosen for examination?I have done my MSc in environmental science.

Environmental engineering is a specialized branch under civil engineering.
If you have done M.Sc. in environmental sciences then you must choose civil engineering branch for appearing in the GATE exam.

I have done B.tech in biomedical.which gate exam i have to attend to choose m.tech in optoelectronics???
