did SRM University & VITS conduct separate exams for B.Arch? or as i want admission in B.Arch so is it important to clear the exam of these universities which is conducted for B.Tech ??

Admission to B.Arch. program in SRM University is based on the aggregate of marks secured in the qualifying examination and in the Aptitude Test in Architecture (ATA) conducted by SRM University on all India basis as part of SRMEEE.

as far as i know there is no need to attend b.tech entrance exam for b.arch . i was a canditate who got the 12981 rank in vit entrance in 2009.. all the best . prepare well for ur entrance.in srm there is seperate exam for b.arch

Yes, SRM University take admission in the B.Arch course from the
SRMEEE exam conducted by SRM University and VIT take admission
through VITEEE exam conducted by the VIT University.
