and what are the requirements they need?

After your graduation you can appear the Combined Defense Service(CDS) Exam to get into the Indian army.

The Indian Army allows candidates from the Engineering field to join in three main divisions. It consists of Combat Engineers, Military Engineering Service and Border Roads. There are few steps like written exam, physical fitness and interview after which candidates are taken in. The student’s can visit the official websites to get more information regarding the eligibility and qualification to join Indian Army.

even i am a army aspirant guy want to join army ,

even i have selected for UES.. ok i will tell you the list of exams or entry scheme first
they are
1.UES(UNIVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME) you need to fill up application and need to refer employment news in the month of aug-sept
2.CDS(COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICE) is a exam like NDA after 12 and its a exam after graduation no barrier on any age limits and all
3.NCC'C' CERTIFICATE DIRECT ENTRY SCHEME.
IF you have c certificate then you can have direct entry for SSB

As you are saying that you are the student of an engineering college of ECE branch and you want to join Indian army then you have to pass some entrance exam and you have to pass as well as in medical test also. There are three category of Indian army these are
(1) BSF
(2) AIRFORCE
(3) NAVY

As an Indian Army Engineer, you could be a part of any of the three elite corps of Engineers,

Bombay Spares
Madras Engineers
Bengal Engineers.

Two Options available

a) Permanent Commission
b) Short Service Commission

In short service Commission you can serve for 5 years and have an option to quit the army.
you can apply following ways
1.)Technical Entry Graduates IMA exam mostly held in January and July and age should be 20 to 27 Years and mode of selection is Direct SSB..
2.)SS Commission not fixed and after completion of b.tech chech with related dates in employement news.
3.)OTA –Technical Entry held in May and Oct/ Nov and age should be between 19 to 25 and mode is Direct SSB

As i know if you are in prefinal year or in final year have 60% or more than you can apply for the SSB exam directly for the indian army.

Apply for the Combined Defense Services Exam (CDSE). The notification for the exams appear in August and March and the exam is conducted in February and March in all national newspapers. You should be unmarried and between 19 and 24 years to join the Indian Military Academy or between 19 and 25 years to join the Officers' Training Academy.

Appear for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview and the medical examination once you have passed the CDSE exam. The SSB interview tests your physical and psychological mettle.

Hello friend,

If you want to join Indian Army, then you will be surely eligible as it accepts till some -2.5.
But for Indian Air Force, you are not eligible as it require 6/6 for eye sight.
So. don't get worried, prepare for exam.

Yes, you can join Indian Army through many ways.
Since you will be graduated soon, then you can take up an exam
1. CDS - Combined defense service. conducted by UPSC.
2. Through technical entry, you can also join Indian Army

To join Indian Army, you have to write an exam called
1. CDS - Combined defense service.
This exam is conducted by UPSC and if you clear the written exam, then you will be called for SSB interview followed by medical check up.

Hello,

After graduation, there are many ways to join indian army.
One of the way is through CDS exam conducted by UPSC. The exam can be written by all the graduates.
Since you belong to engineering, You can either join through technical entry.
even they used to come for campus recruitment and you can try for that.

Well you have taken a good decision of joining in army and serving the country.You can apply for CDS test after you completion of B.E.You will have to go for 2 years of training period and then you will be an officer.

Yes, you can join Indian Army after ME.
There are so many ways you can join Indian Army after BE.
There is particular special entry for engineering students called
Technical Entry Scheme.. For this you need to have good aggregate in BE.

Also, you can try for
1. CDS
2. UES
3. SSC

As you are a graduate you can appear for C.D.S.E(combined defence services examination):

UPSC conducts the Examination (CDSE) twice every year for the recruitment of officers in Army, Air Force and Navy. Candidates qualifying the written test are interviewed by the Service Selection Board and if finally selected, depending upon their preference and position in the merit list, are sent to one of the following institutes for orientation training: -

(a) Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun

(b) Naval Academy, Goa

(c) Air Force Academy, Begumpet, Hyderabad

(d) Officers Training Academy, Chennai

PATTERN:

The examination includes a written test, and those who qualify the written test are called for interview by the Service Selection Boards. The written test comprises of three papers of 2 hours duration each. The first paper is on English and second and third is on general knowledge and elementary mathematics respectively.

AGE LIMIT:

Applicants for IMA, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy must be unmarried males in the age group 18-23 years, 20-23 years and 21-23 years, as on 1st July of the year of examination, respectively. Married applicants, in the age group of 17-24 years are also eligible for OTA.

You can also appear for UES(university entry scheme):

UES (Final Year) – Born between 02 Jul 86 and 01 Jul 92 – Not below 19 years and not over 25 years.
UES (Pre-Final Year) – Born between 02 Jul 87 and 01 Jul 93 – Not below 18 years and not over 24 years.

Another mode of Examination is TGC(Technical Graduates Course): this entry is only for engineering graduates:

Engineers : 57 posts (Civil-11, Electrical-8, Mechanical-8, Computer Science-5, Telecom-10, Electronics-06, IT-4, Production-3, Architecture-1, Food Tech./ Bio-Tech. – 1)

Eligibility criteria for the INDIAN ARMY:-

10+2 pass candidates with physics, chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-60% marks.

Age limitation is between 16.5 -19 years.

Only unmarried male candidates can apply for it.

Minimum height should be 157.5 cm with 5 cm chest expansion.

The best way to join Indian Army is join IMA after graduation. You can do graduation in any field you want. After that you have to appear for Combined Defence Services Examination through UPSC. After qualifying this examination you will have a direct entry.

Being a candidate of EC engineer you can directly apply for the SSB interview. You can also apply by university entry scheme and can give direct campus SSB interview to get selected. Your age must be in between 19-24 years.

Yes ofcourse you can join Indian army after doing B.tech by qualifying CDS exam and there is an another way for this that is campus selection in Indian army and after both this way you have to pass SSB and by clearing SSB you can join Indian army.
