Bank PO jobs are in good demand these days. This is because of the vast development of banking sector in India and the comforts and other benefits that are being provided to these positions.
Hence, the number of candidates who attempt bank exams are going on increasing. The selection procedure for these positions is by -Written Test -Interview. There will be negative marking in the written exam. The written exam consists of various questions from -Reasoning -Quantitative Aptitude -General Awareness -General English -Computer Knowledge One should have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the sections in order to get through the written exam. The eligibility criteria for bank exams will be slightly different from bank to bank. Academic Qualification : -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. Some banks may put certain percentage of marks in Graduation as the eligibility criteria and it will be 55%. -Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation can also apply for Bank Exams for POs but they should be able to show the proof of passing in Graduation when they appear for Interview. Age criteria : -One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for bank PO exams. -Relaxation is there in percentage of marks and in upper age limit for the candidates of SC/ST category. From this academic year, IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) is conducting common written exam for the recruitment of Probationary Officers for 19 public sector banks. Different bank have different eligibility criteria so i will try to tell you in the details about all these banks eligibility criteria.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IBPS:: Your age should be minimum 20 years and not more then 30 years.There is some relaxation given to reserved caste students in upper age limit .For SC/ST its a 5 years and for OBC its a 3 years . You must have a degree in any discipline from a recognized university. SBI :: For PO:: You should not be less then 21 and more then 30 years You should have completed your graduation in any streams with 65% or more. Bank Of Baroda :: For PO:: You should not be less then 21 and more then 30 years You should have completed your graduation in any streams . Punjab National Bank For PO:: You should be graduate in any discipline with 50% marks or equivalent qualification. You should be between 20 years and 25 years. |

If you are interested in BANK PO Then lease go through these criteria details below : BANK PO ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : 1.Educational qualification : The candidate must complete graduation with god marks.[above 60% in very good] 2.Age limitation : The age of the candidate must be within 21 to 30 years. SC/ST will get 5 years age relaxation and OBC will get 3 year age relaxation. 3.Nationality : You must be an Indian citizen. 4.Backlog criteria : you should not have no active backlogs. Syllabus : Reasoning Questions:- The reasoning part of the question paper examines your reasoning abilities and mental aptitude. I have scored 45% marks in graduation(B.Com). Can I apply for PO or clerk exam2012? Kindly tell me about both of these posts separately. is it true that in specific bank percentage does not matters and only being a graduate is enough. Do banks change its eligibility criteria every year. please reply soon. |
