Bank PO jobs are in good demand these days. This is because of the vast development of banking sector in India and the comforts and other benefits that are being provided to these positions.
Hence, the number of candidates who attempt bank exams are going on increasing. The selection procedure for these positions is by -Written Test -Interview. There will be negative marking in the written exam. The written exam consists of various questions from -Reasoning -Quantitative Aptitude -General Awareness -General English -Computer Knowledge One should have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the sections in order to get through the written exam. The eligibility criteria for bank exams will be slightly different from bank to bank. Academic Qualification : -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. Some banks may put certain percentage of marks in Graduation as the eligibility criteria and it will be 55%. -Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation can also apply for Bank Exams for POs but they should be able to show the proof of passing in Graduation when they appear for Interview. Age criteria : -One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for bank PO exams. -Relaxation is there in percentage of marks and in upper age limit for the candidates of SC/ST category. From this academic year, IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) is conducting common written exam for the recruitment of Probationary Officers for 19 public sector banks. Different bank have different eligibility criteria so i will try to tell you in the details about all these banks eligibility criteria.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IBPS:: Your age should be minimum 20 years and not more then 30 years.There is some relaxation given to reserved caste students in upper age limit .For SC/ST its a 5 years and for OBC its a 3 years . You must have a degree in any discipline from a recognized university. SBI :: For PO:: You should not be less then 21 and more then 30 years You should have completed your graduation in any streams with 65% or more. Bank Of Baroda :: For PO:: You should not be less then 21 and more then 30 years You should have completed your graduation in any streams . Punjab National Bank For PO:: You should be graduate in any discipline with 50% marks or equivalent qualification. You should be between 20 years and 25 years. |

IBPS - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts CWE ( Common Entrance Exam ) for these positions - 1. Bank PO 2. Bank Clerk 3. Specialist Officers 4. RRBs Eligibility criteria to apply for IBPS Bank PO Exam - 1. Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. 2. The eligibility of Bank PO is different for each banks. However almost all the banks require a graduation degree to be eligible for this post. There are some private banks that requires some prior experience before applying for the Bank PO job.

P.O. Probationary Officer, the exam for which is conducted generally by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Personal Selection) and also by many other private banks.
Eligibility of Bank P.O. Exam:- -The candidate must be an Indian National -Should have completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University, there is no percentage of marks criteria for SBI & IBPS P.O. The post of Bank PO that is Bank Probationary Officer in any bank in India is considered as white color job. To be a Bank PO you need to qualify in this examination. Different bank conducts separate examination for Bank P.O. recruitment. As the minimum eligibility criteria to appear for this examination is a graduate degree from a recognized College / University in any stream like Arts / Commerce / Science or Engineering etc may appear in this examination.
Generally, candidates who get finally selected in Bank P.O. examination may ask to work on probation for 2 years period. General eligibility criteria for appearing in Bank P.O. examination are mentioned here: 1. You must be India National 2. You are a graduate degree recognized from UGC in any stream. Dear friend the eligibility criteria for Bank PO exam is:-
Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Candidate must have to completed Graduation degree with 50% marks from a recognized University. Age limit should be between 21 to 30 years for General category candidates. OBC category candidates age limit is 21 to 33 years. SC/ST category candidates age limit is 21 to 35 years. Exam Pattern: - Quantitative Aptitude Reasoning General awareness Computer awareness English Selection process:- Written test, Personal interview All the best......... |

Eligibility Criteria for Bank PO Exams Minimum eligibility criteria for appearing in any Bank PO (Probationary Officer) exam is to be a graduate in any stream with an aggregate of 55% in your graduation.. Final Year graduation candidates can also appear for this exam.. You should be within the age limit of 21-30 years of age for general category (age relaxation for various reserved categories according to the government norms ) |
