hi sir,i have done 12th class with science UP.BOARD (physics,chemistry,mathematics),i got 53 marks in chem,58 in phy.but got 42 marks in mathematics,now doing b.com(final)and also i have done 2diplomas of 1 year each in computer field,, can i eligible for MCA ? plz guide me !

Candidates who are Indian and have passed or are appearing in the Bachelor's degree final examination in any discipline from any recognized university with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the Subjects in 10+2+3 pattern are eligible to appear and qualify in the written test.


JNU MCA Admission 2011:-

Eligibility:- Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree of minimum from a reputed Institute with at least 55 % aggregate marks with Mathematics as one of the subject at Graduation or at +2 levels.


Anna University MCA Admission 2011:-

Eligibility Criteria:-

1. A pass in any Bachelor Degree

The candidate should have studied Core Mathematics either at +2 level or Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Oriented subject as one of the subjects at the Degree level

and

2. A pass in the Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) conducted by the CDE, Anna University.

i suppose you have a lot of interest in computer application.that really good because it has a good scope head.

General Eligibility Criteria for Indian students for MCA Course

Aspirants who have done their BCA, BBA or B.Tech can apply for the MCA course.
Students who have finished their graduation in science can also apply.
These students must have studied Mathematics as a subject in class 10+2. There is no age limit regarding the admission to this course.

MCA Should be passed wth 50% in any recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 year's duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level.
OR
Should be a passed with 50% marks in any recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 year's duration in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

mca stands for master of computer application, it is a post graduation course

you must have to complete graduation from a recognized college in bca to go for mca

must have studied maths in class 12th,

there is no age limit for pursuing mca,

for admission in mca you need to crack all India common entrance test,
