Hello friend,
The minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for IAS exam is a Bachelors degree in any stream. The minimum eligible age is 21 years whereas, the maximum age limit is 30 years. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are eligible up to the age of 35 years and candidates belonging to OBC are eligible up to 33 years. In 2nd year of B.Sc your syster can't give IAS exam.for IAS exam bachlor degree in some specified subjects are required. eligibility criteria bfor IAS exam are Age limit 21-30 year on 1-7-2011 EDUCATION QUALIFICATION You have bachlor degree in one recogniged sub. as namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification . To apply For IAS exams, You Need A Bachelor’s degree of a recognised University. So, if Your Age is Between 21-30 years, Then You Are Eligible to Apply for IAS exams. But, Your Sister In Second Year of B.sc, Then I will Suggest You That Your Sister Are not Eligible for IAS examination. Dear,
In order to be eligible for the IAS i.e. Indian Administrative Services you need to clear the CSAT exam conducted by UPSC. The minimum educational qualification required is to a graduate. Age limitation is between 21-30 years. However there are 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC category. For the preparation of IAS examination your general awareness should be very strong. Reading newspapers will help you a lot. Thanks. |

To become IAS officer first thing which you have to do is to fill civil
service.Civil service exam consist of two phase: Phase I: Preliminery exam Phase II:written exam and interview. Only those students who clear preliminery exam will get called for written and interview exam .There is no optional subject in preliminery exam but in the main exam . Eligibility for IAS : Minimum education criteria is you should be Graduate. Final year can also apply. You should br between 21years to 30 yrs of age.There is some relaxation to SC/ST and OBC students of 5 and 3 years in upper age respectively . |

Education qualification: Candidate should have minimum graduation degree with any discipline from a recognized university. IAS exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).
The eligibility criteria for this exam is as follows Academic qualification : -One should have completed graduation from a recognized university with any of the discipline. TO CRACK THE EXAMS,U SHOULD BE STRONG IN FOLLOWING -->current affairs -->general knowledge -->history -->technical basics,if u belong to technical students... -->spoken hindi.... I completed my graduation in BSC.IT i.e ( Information technology) in correspondence and the subjects given for the preparation of IAS exam were not the part of my graduation. though i had those subjects till class 12th . can i appear for the IAS exam? also i had a back paper in my 4th semester, which i cleared later on... please let me know if i am eligible for IAS exam.

educational qualification,
candidate should have completed graduation or should have bachelors degree from a recognized university or institute, final year student can also apply for the exam, AGE LIMITS candidate should have attained the age of atleast 21 years to become eligible for the exam, age limit for the exam is 21 to 30 years, upsc provides age relaxation to the category like OBC and SC/ST, age relaxation of 3 years is given to the OBC candidates. candidates belonging to OBC gets age relaxation of 3 years . age limits for the OBC candidates is 21 to 33 years SC/ST category gets age relaxation of 5 years. age limits for th SC/St candidates is 21 to 30 years. also the candidates who are govt. employees gets age relaxation of 5 years , so for them age limits is 21 to 35 years. good luck |
