All candidates who are either appearing in the final exams of their qualifying degree or already passed their qualifying degree, eligible for appearing in the IIT JAM. There is no upper age limit for appearing in this exam. As you are appearing in second year exams in 2016, hence you are eligible for IIT JAM 2017. If you are pursuing your B.Sc through correspondence then you will have to face an additional interview to get admission in M.Sc.
