NDA stands for National Defence Academy and this examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year dor the recruitment of Army, Naval, and Air Force Wings .

> > A candidate should have completed 12th from recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics as main subject

> > Age must be 16.5 to 19 years

> > Height minimum 165 cms

> > Must be physically fit

> > Unmarried

> > Final year student can apply for NDA exam

Selection Process : Written , Interview , medical test.

Hence, you can surely apply for NDA exam if you fulfill all the criteria that i have mentioned above.

NDA Exam - National Defence Academy

This exam is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) and a part of defence services exam held every year twice as NDA I and NDA II. This exam is conducted for candidates to join in:

• Indian Army
• Indian Navy
• Indian Air Force

To join in Indian army through NDA, the qualification needed are:

-> Candidate should be a citizen of India.

-> Martial status states candidate should be a unmarried male candidate

-> Age limit needed is 16 1/2-19 years

-> Educational qualification needed is completed +2 from a recognized school board of education.

-> Candidate need to be physically fit

You are satisfying the age limit needed, check whether you satisfy the other criteria's. The candidates are selected through

1. Written Exam
2. Interview

The Written Exam consists of 2 subjects, Maths and General Ability Test and the maximum marks for Maths is 300 & General ability is 600. The duration for the exam is 2 1/2 hours.

The Interview is conducted by SSB and candidates need to undergo Intelligence Test & Personality Test.

Yes, you are eligible for NDA exam.

Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam. Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19 years.

Written examination will be divided into 2 parts-

Mathematics-300 marks.
General ability Test- 600 marks.

Total time duration for 2 papers is 300 mins

General Ability Test -

English 200 marks
General Knowledge 400 marks

AS PER YOUR STATEMENT YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO JOIN IN INDIAN ARMY WING through UPSC conducted NDA Entrance examination.

NDA Eligibility:-
NDA entrance examination is conducted by UPSC 2 times in a year.
1.A 12th passed candidate from the recognized board having any Arts/Commerce/Science group can apply for Army Wing.

2.The age of the candidate must be within 16.5 years to 19 years.

3.An Indian unmarried male can write this NDA Entrance Examination.

3.There is no age relaxation.

4.Candidates eyesight must be normal free from color blindness.

These are the main features to sit for the NDA entrance exam having any subjects like arts/commerce/science.

Eligibility Criteria :

For Indian Army : Candidate must complete his 12th from recognised board.
For Indian Navy and Air Force : Candidate must pass his 12th class with physics and Mathematics as main subjects from any recognised Board.

Age Criteria : Age of candidate must be from 16-1/2 - 19 Years.

Nationality : Candidate must be citizen of India.

Marital Status and Sex : Candidate must be unmarried male.

Selection Procedure :

Written Exam : First of all candidate have to pass written exam. Written exam consists of two papers.
Mathematics of 300 marks.
General Ability Test of 600 Marks.

Questions will be objective type.

SSB Interview : After passing 12th class written exam candidate will be called for SSB Interview. After passing SSB Interview candiadte have to pass medical test.
