If you have qualified 10+2 examination from a recognized board with any combination of subjects and with whatever percentage of marks, you are eligible to pursue Company Secretary course. The Course is offered through correspondence mode by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the registration can be done through any of its regional offices located all over India.

Now as far as duration of the course is concerned, it is as follows:

Foundation Program: Nine Months
Executive Program: Nine Months
Management Training: Fifteen Months
Professional Program: As far as professional program is concerned, the minimum duration for completion of this stage is also nine months but since the enrollment for management training and professional course can be done at the same time after completion of Executive Program, students usually completes the Professional Program while undergoing the management training.

The minimum eligibility required for the Foundation course for Company Secretary is 10+2 or an equivalent examination. Candidates who have enrolled for the 10+2 examination can apply with the proof of passing the examination within 6 months. Candidates who have passed the Foundation Course, and are not less than 17 years of age can apply for the Executive programme. Graduates, post-graduates (excluding Fine arts) and those who have passed final exam of ICWAI or ICAI or of any other accountancy Institution in India or abroad recognized by the Council of the Institute can directly enroll to the Executive programme without passing the Foundation Examination.

The Company Secretary course is conducted in three stages:
Foundation
Executive
Professional

Eligibilty to apply for the CS Foundation course is:
>> 12th Pass in any stream
No minimum percentage of marks required in class12th


Subjects to study in the CS Foundation Course
English and Business Communication
Economics and Statistics
Financial Accounting
Elements of Business Laws and Management

ICSI conducts Executive Examinations twice a year that is in June and December.


Eligibilty to give the Executive level Exams of ICSI is
Graduation Pass or Foundation course pass of the ICSI

There are 7 papers that you have to give in the ICSI Executive level

Module 1
>> Economic and Commercial Laws
>> Cost and Management accounting
>> Tax Laws and Practice
>> Company Laws

Module 2
>> Company Accounts and Auditing Practices
>> Industrial, General and Labour Laws
>> Capital Markets and Securities Law


It will take minimum 3 and half years to complete this course

i am pursuing bcom.i dont know the process of doing cs.tell me the process;
