How can I apply for CS after passing MBA?


i have passed mba. so how can i apply for cs?

Yes your eligible to apply for CS ( Company Secretary Course ) . If your aspiring to become an Company secretary then you should qualified in three levels namely Foundation / Intermediate / Final course . The duration of the course is for three years .

Eligibility criteria for CS course :-

To apply for Foundation course , you should qualified in 12th standard in any discipline from recognized university .

To apply for Intermediate course , you should complete foundation course or bachelor degree course from recognized university .
( OR)

If Your completed professional course like, CFA / CA / CS then you may be directly apply for Intermediate course .

To apply for Final course , you should complete Intermediate course then you may eligible to apply for Final course .

If your complete all the three levels then you may send for practical training for 16 months , If your successfully complete training then you may registered as a member in ICSI Institute of Company secretary of India .

Subjects for CS Course :-
  • Corporate Secretarial practice
  • Company Law
  • Financial Accounting
  • General and Commercial Law
  • Management Accounting
  • Basic Economics
  • World Trade Organization
  • Human Resource Management and Industrial Relation
  • International Trade
  • Joint Ventures and Foreign Collaborations
  • Business Communication
  • Corporate Restructuring
  • Banking and Insurance

So , after completing MBA course you may directly pursue for Intermediate course in Company secretary .

Hi Dear

After complete your graduation then you can apply for this CS exam
CS means Company Secretary .

After complete your MBA then you also eligible for CS study.

CS-COMPANY SECRETARY is a correspondence course managed and conducted by ICSI(Institute of Company Secretary of India).

Company Secretary is divided in to three parts:-

FOUNDATION PROGRAM
EXECUTIVE PROGRAM
PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM

The candidate having 12th qualification in any stream is eligible for Foundation Program.

The candidate having completed Foundation program is admitted in to Executive Program. The candidate having Graduation in any discipline or above is eligible directly for Executive Program.
The candidate having completed Executive Program is admitted to Professional Program.

After successfully completing all the program the candidate has to undergone a compulsory 15 months training before getting recognisation from ICSI as certified Company Secretary.

So after MBA you can directly apply for the Executive Program of CS course and for registration to this program you should have do this before 29th February for December examination and before 31st August for June exam for the next year.

I am Mukesh Sharma & i have Completed B.com with Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra in 2005 with 45% marks.
Now,I have completed M.Com. from K.U.K. (Kurukshetra) & Executive M.B.A. (Finance from Eiilm University Sikkam
Now i Want to be a CA/CS/ICWA.

Kindly Suggest me how can admision in these Stream & what is required Educational Qulification & % of marks for Differnt Leval of these three courses.

Hello friend there is no age limit for CS course
You must write an entrance exam for CS
The minimum qualification is 10+2 and also you join after persuing degree
all the best.........

For Foundation course eligibilty to take admission is 12th Pass

Fees for the executive course is rs 7750 and exam fees is rs 1800
Minimum duration to complete this stage is 12 months

You have to take admission by 28th February 2013, if you want to give the CS Executive Level exams in December 2013

In the Executive Level exams there will be 6 papers that you have to study and they are:
>> General and Commercial Laws
>> Company Accounts, cost and management accounting
>> Tax Laws
>> Company Laws
>> Economic and Labour Laws
>> Securities Laws and Compliances
