I am doing my B.E degree in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING 3 rd year.. i am eligible to join in SSB navy are not.. please reply soon.. i am very much interested in join in INDIAN NAVY

I f your doing B.E in mech engg you are perfectly eligible for navy,but they will see body fitness,mental fitness and all. you should pass these exams too other than your aptitude.

yes u can clear the navy exam and then join fr ssb
if u clear it thn yes its true u will be ready fr nvy aftr training

here i am providing the process of selection refer this ,it will help yousurely

The selection procedures are as follows:-
(a) The candidates will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews at Bangalore/ Bhopal/Coimbatore between Feb 10 to May 10 according to their choice of cadre and their performance in BE/B Tech. Degree. Short-listing of candidates will be done on the basis of the cut off percentage decided by IHQ-MoD (Navy) for each cadre. No communication will be entertained on this account. A candidate not making to the cut-off %age of his 1st choice will be considered for his 2nd or 3rd choice, provided the candidates meets the cutoff for that particular cadre.

(b) Conduct of SSB. Stage I test consisting of Officer Intelligence Rating Test(OI&R Test), Picture Perception and Discussion test(PDPT) will be conducted on the first day. Candidate who fails to qualify in Stage I will be routed back home on the same day. Stage II tests will comprise of Psychological testing, Group Task, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. No compensation will be paid in case of any injury sustained as a result of tests. The duration of SSB will be 05 days Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Special Medical Examination for approximate duration of 05 days at nearest military hospital.

(c) Change of SSB centre is not permissible. Any correspondence regarding change of SSB dates is to be addressed to the Call-up Officer of the concerned SSB. Award of fresh dates, would be subject to availability of date and batches at SSB centre.

(d) Candidates recommended by the SSBs and declared medically fit, will be appointed for training in order of All India Merit depending on the number of vacancies.

(e) Return 2nd Class Sleeper rail fare is admissible for the SSB interview, if appearing for the first time for the entry

Age: 19 ½ to 25 Years
Education: A degree in Electronics /Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Or Post Graduate Degree in Electronics or Physics.
Tests: Only SSB Interview

Yes you are eligible because the candidates studying in final year and pre-final year are eligible for this exam. The only procedure for the entrance in SSB is through UES . The officers are come to your campus and selected you for SSB .

Students of Pre-Final and final year are eligible for SSB.
Selection is through the university entry scheme.
Defense officers come to your campus, hold and interview and select you for SSB

IN SSB you have exam in 2 phases.
If you get cleared in the first phase, then there is a 5 days days testing period in the second phase, which include GD, physical fitness and more..

After the completion of SSB, you will be able to serve the nation as an officer!

You being a pre-final year student are very much eligble for Navy SSB.

you should apply for technical entry scheme,tes exam.
The candidates are tested in the following three subjects for IMA, Naval Academy and Airforce Academy.
1. English 100 marks (2 hours)
2. General Knowledge 100 marks (2 hours)
3. Elementary Mathematics 100 marks (2 hours)

This is Neethi from Chennai. I was called up for campus interview from the INDIAN NAVY for Logistic cadre under UES 11. I got through the GD and did my interview well... Now my doubt is tat will they filter the candidates for SSB?? If i m getting selected for SSB wen and how ll i know abt the location and dates for the SSB. Please help me sir.
