Indian Navy SSC Observer Officer in Aviation Cadre 2011
Getting in to the defense organizations is really a prestigious issue, and that is the reason that so many candidates from all over the country try their luck and effort every year to be a part of any wing of defense. This is not very easy; however there are ample opportunities available in the market to be a part of these prestigious wings of government. One of them is Indian navy SSC observer officer in aviation cadre.
This opportunity might be not for many, but is lifetime opportunity. Basically Indian Navy is divided in to various parts and wings, or in other words can be called as branches. The branches are Executive, Engineering, Electrical, and Education Branch. Amongst these branches, the most sought and desired branch is the executive Branch, which is said to be the superior most branch of Indian navy.
Thus, Indian Navy SSC observer officer in Aviation Cadre provides the aspiring candidates with opportunity to land up in the executive branch straight away. For this purpose, one will have to qualify the entrance test conducted for the purpose.
As mentioned earlier, Indian navy holds a great reputation and thus the selection procedure in this reputed organizational wing is also quite strict and tough.
Entry in Aviation Cadre of Executive branch is open to both male/female candidates. Candidates selected are given training after which they become part of Indian Naval Aviation Arm.
Eligibility criteria:
The candidate should have done graduation in any discipline with at least 55% aggregate marks and should also have had Mathematics and Physics as subjects in 12th. The candidates should be unmarried and be between 19-23 years of age as on 1st July, 2011.
The candidate should also meet the physical standards specified as below:
Candidate should have a minimum height of 162.5 cms with correlated weight, leg length, sitting height and thigh length for both Men and Women candidates.
Eye Sight: The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision is 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6. Candidate should not be colour/night blind.
Application procedure:
Candidates can either send a handwritten/typed application form (on an A4 size paper) according to the format given in the admission notification or download the application form from the website www.nausena-bharti.nic.in. The candidates have to send the filled application form along with attested copies of 10th Class pass Certificate and other educational certificates to the following address:

Important Dates:
Last Date for receipt of Application form: 1st week of May, 2011
SSB Interviews: 1st week of August to mid of November, 2011
Commencement of Training: January, 2011
Selection Procedure:
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination. Shortlisted candidates are called for SSB Interviews. SSB Interview is conducted in two stages. Stage 1 includes Intelligence Test, Picture Perception test and Group discussion. Those who qualify in Stage 1 can appear for Stage 2. Stage 2 includes Psychological Tests, Group Task and Personal Interview. Selected candidates then have to clear an Aviation medical examination before being selected.
