Re: Which engineering branch should I choose?
Engineering is very good choice. engineers have so much demand in the market. engineers always have demand in the market.
Top branches in engineering are- Computer Science Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Civil Engineering Information Technology Automobile Engineering Aeronotical Engineering and other so many branches are also available. these all are very good branches you can choose according to your interest. all branches have so much scope in their field we can not compare these branches. For admission in engineering college you have to apply for JEE exam. JEE exam is the only exam for admission in engineering college in India. admission in all engineering college are based on merit in JEE exam. JEE exam is conducted in two Phases first JEE main exam is conducted and then JEE Advance exam is conducted. to apply for JEE exam you should have 12th with Physics,Chemistry and Maths with minimum 45% marks. IITs are best college for engineering. you should try for IIT admission. |

Re: Which engineering branch should I choose?
The minimum qualification with which a candidate can join Engineering is by completion of 12th class.
The admission to this course will be given on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam. There are state level and national level Entrance Exams to join Engineering course like AIEEE IIT-JEE EAMCET etc. Each and every branch in Engineering course has its own career scope and job opportunities for the candidates. Some of the popular branches in Engineering are Computer Science Engineering Information Technology Electrical and Electronics Engineering Electronics and Computer Science Engineering Chemical Engineering Civil Engineering Aeronautical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Robotics etc. Know your interest first and collect the list of colleges offering your chosen branch. Have good preparation for the respective Entrance Exam and crack it. One thing is sure that, if you get admission for Engineering course in top college, obviously by the time you complete your Engineering course you will be having job in your hand through campus placements. Gain good subject knowledge and enhance your communication skills during your engineering course which will be helpful for you to get the job. Wish you all the best. |

Re: Which engineering branch should I choose?
There are some very good Engineering branches. It would have helped if you have tell me about your interest. If you find any particular subject interested. I would have suggested branch according to it.
However still in my opinion following are some of the best engineering streams: Electronics and Communications Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering You should consider doing any of the three mentioned above. If you ask me to pick one, it would be Electronics and Communications. It has much wider scope and that too in various fields. It is especially recommended for candidates who want PSU jobs. Although there are also plenty of opportunities for Electrical and Mechanical engineers in the Public Sector Undertaking. But there will be hardly any PSU Company which does not hire Electronics and Communication Engineers. Besides in the private sector too it offers great scope. You can get jobs in sectors like Telecom, IT and Consumer Electronics. To apply for any of these courses you will have to appear for Engineering entrance exam. The criteria will not change regardless of which branch you have selected. JEE BITSAT UPSEE GUJ-CET MHA-CET Above are some of the entrance exams conducted for Engineering. You should definitely appear for the JEE which means Joint Entrance Exam. It is the replacement for the AIEEE and IIT-JEE entrance exam. The JEE Mains is the replacement of AIEEE and therefore for 15 percent All India Engineering seats, you should appear for the first stage of JEE which is JEE Mains. But if you want admission in IIT then after clearing JEE Mains you will have to appear for the JEE Advanced. Only the top 150,000 go foward to appear for JEE Advanced. |
