Is engineering percentage an important factor in PSU placement


respected sir, is engineering percentage an important factor in psu placement? ? is it sufficiant just to crack gate with good score

i have scored 55% in elex.engg. Where can i apply in which psu.

Yes, percentage of marks obtained in engineering degree is equally important as that of GATE score. Those with a minimum cut off percentage of 60-70% are usually considered for recruitment. BHEL, BPCL, HPCL, etc are some of the firms where candidates with a minimum of 60% marks can apply. MECON, NALCO, etc admits candidates with a minimum of 65% marks. A minimum of 70% marks is required to join with DMRC.
