Re: Which entrance exam should I prefer between CAT and GMAT if I am an average student?
70% is not a measure of any good or average student. For GMAT and CAT you should have sound knowledge of English and MATH. If you are weak in science it doesn't matter.
You can appear both for GMAT and CAT. Get prepared for both and give the exams you will surely succeed. GMAT can be given anytime of the year and the institute under it consider work experience. The moment you feel you are ready to appear for the exam book a date with the exam center. CAT is conducted in the month of October and November so you have to maintain a time during preparing for CAT. The main thing is you should have been cleared you graduation to appear these examination. |

Re: Which entrance exam should I prefer between CAT and GMAT if I am an average student?
At first I tell you that Bith exam are for the MBA course but there is a difference that CAT gives the ability to taking admission in top managment colleges in INDIA,whereas GMAT gives you the ability to taking admission in Managment colleges all over the world.
Your graduation score is very good so you should try for the CAT. There are also other exam for taking admission in MBA programme like MAT. XAT. But yes, I would like to tell you that if you qualify the CAT exam then you can take admission in any managment colleges in INDIA. |

Re: Which entrance exam should I prefer between CAT and GMAT if I am an average student?
Hi buddy,
you can apply for the both GMAT as well as CAT but top colleges are under CAT as compare to GMAT. GMAT & CAT are almost similar but level of aptitude is little bit tough in CAT as compare to GMAT. Dont worry, just prepare well with popers strategy , you will get better result. The solution for this is the only one i.e., you need to do a lot practice. |
