List of aviation courses after 12th
Commercial pilot training Eligibility :- Student must have passed 12th class (physics ,chemistry and mathematics )with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Job profiles:- After this course you may go ahead and become commercial pilots in private or government airlines. Salary:- Starting salary is between Rs. 5 lakh to Rs . 12 lakh per year. Aeronautical engineering Eligibility:- Student must have passed 12th (physics,chemistry and mathematics) from a recognized board. Students have to clear national as well as state level entrance exams for admission in recognized university. Job profiles:- Research and development engineer Chief engineer Design engineer Salary:- Starting salary is between Rs. 3lakh to Rs. 5 lakh per year. B.Sc aviation Student must have passed 12th (physics,chemistry and mathematics) with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Job profiles:- Safety management Air traffic control technical ground operations Salary:- Starting salary is between Rs.2 lakh to Rs. 4 lakh per year. Diploma in airport management Students who have passed 12th Standard (any stream) are eligible to apply for this 1 year long Diploma course. Job profiles:- Cargo department manager Airport manager Assistant manager Salary:- Starting salary is between Rs. 2 lakh to Rs. 5 lakh per year. To become a pilot you need to fulfil few eligibility requirements which are mentioned below. The fee structure, entrance exam, its syllabus and other details are given below.
Eligibility criteria: - The candidate should have completed their 10+2 or equivalent education in physics, maths, chemistry with minimum 50% from any recognised board. - The candidates age should be more than 16 years. There is no upper age limit. Few air line companies have their own upper age limit. - The candidate should be physically and mentally fit. - The eye sight should be very clear. - The height should be between 152 Cms to 160 Cms. This may vary based on the air line companies. The weight should be proportional to the height. Entrance exam: There is an entrance exam named IGRUA CPL (Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Urban Academy Commercial Pilot License) through which the admissions are given for the pilot training course. The admission are based on the merit performance in the entrance exam. You need to clear the entrance exam and start training and get license. Based on your license you'll be given the pilot job. There are different types of license like CPL, SPL, PPL, ATPL. Syllabus for entrance exam: The entrance exam is of 2 hours objective type question paper. No negative marking is given for wrong answers. The syllabus includes mathematics, physics, aptitude, reasoning and general english. The fee structure for the course including the license will be around INR 20 - 25 Lakhs. Few banks provide 50% educational loan. |
