Which fields are the best among Civil Engineering? Best paying job? Which sector is better between private and government sector?
i am civil engg. student currently in 3rd year. i want to know which fields is best among all the civil engg. fields in which i can got the best paying job and satisfactory and what are the extra skills are required for that particular job. i also want to know which sector is better private sector or goverment sector.

1) you should be thorough with the basic concepts.
2) shoul study Structural analysis, Steel & concrete design very well. SECTORS:- I would suggest yo to take up govt job, because it pays you a lot and at the same time has very little work. Private companies makes you work like anything. they derive the most out of you, unlike govt jobs. PUBLIC SECTOR UNITS 1) NTPC (GATE score based) 2) IOCL (GATE) 3)SAIL 4) GAIL if you have more queries please do post it right here. |

Future after Civil Engineering
every developing organization uncomplete without civil engg. so lot's of job after study. if you give 110% then you can earn min.8000 rs to unlimited. for better job you can tackle on drawing and new technique.and style and crativity.CAD help to you. job: many govt. field for civil engg.after study you can apply Upse(IES),ssc.RRB,DRDO,and many more private job: if you want to do private job so join builcon,infrastucture,HOME design and as you like.you can also join. |

see, now a days Govt PSU salary structured getting improve a lot more. Govt PSU paying more starting salary to trainees. so you can join in the Govt PSU. in case of private sectors, there have some renound company like >>L&T. >>DLF. >>RELIANCE. >>BIRLA. >>ITC. etc. paying a good salary to the trainee engineers. so you can choose one of them. all the best........ |

All it depends whats your preference , professional approach , working hours ?
