i am civil engg. student currently in 3rd year. i want to know which fields is best among all the civil engg. fields in which i can got the best paying job and satisfactory and what are the extra skills are required for that particular job. i also want to know which sector is better private sector or goverment sector.

1) you should be thorough with the basic concepts.
2) shoul study Structural analysis, Steel & concrete design very well.

SECTORS:-

I would suggest yo to take up govt job, because it pays you a lot and at the same time has very little work. Private companies makes you work like anything. they derive the most out of you, unlike govt jobs.

2) IOCL (GATE)
3)SAIL
4) GAIL

Future after Civil Engineering
every developing organization uncomplete without civil engg. so lot's of job after study.
if you give 110% then you can earn min.8000 rs to unlimited.
for better job you can tackle on drawing and new technique.and style and crativity.CAD help to you.

job: many govt. field for civil engg.after study you can apply Upse(IES),ssc.RRB,DRDO,and many more
private job: if you want to do private job so join builcon,infrastucture,HOME design and as you like.you can also join.

see, now a days Govt PSU salary structured getting improve a lot more.

Govt PSU paying more starting salary to trainees.

so you can join in the Govt PSU.

in case of private sectors, there have some renound company like

>>L&T.

>>DLF.

>>RELIANCE.

>>BIRLA.

>>ITC.

etc.

paying a good salary to the trainee engineers.

so you can choose one of them.

With Hard effort / Conditions But High Pay = Pvt. Companies/ MNCs / Pvt. Ltd Eg:- L&T/ Raheja/ Simplex/ Soma/ JayPee/ Marg/ DLF/ Tata Projects/HCC/Gammon/Shaapoorji/Punj Lyod etc

i want to know what is the procedure of enginering college admission, also how many % marks required for plustwo in cbse?

I am currently doing civil engineering 3rd year n i want to know that which field is better paying job n satisfatory among them

i am a civil engg BTech graduate from iitk with a cgpa 7.7/10........still couldn't get a job in civil industry. None of the top comp. came for recruitment in campus only 3 civil comp. came that also smaal scale comp........so if u r from ny of iits then it's difficult( PS: irony is all the top comp. recruited almost every one from NITs nd pec chandigarh thapar etc.)
