hi i am pursuin final year of my bds and want to know about career options in forensic odontology and MBA in hospital administration. kindly enlighten me.

Each has its own scope and career, but I would suggest you go for second.

MBA in Hospital Administration offers wonderful scope, since of late, more and more multi-speciality hospitals are opening and more health problems are faced nowadays. It is tuff job to maintain hospital lively. It requires tremendous patience, passion, and lot of energy to maintain and run efficiently a hospital in good manner. And you have an additional benefit of changing jobs for every 3 to 5 years as you grow up. Salary is also high ranging from 3 to 6 lacs per annum depending upon your experience.

MBA in hospital management/administration is offered by Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai ( Full time)
Indian Society of health Administrators (ISHA) 1 year by Distance Education
T.N.Open University(2 years) by Distance Education

If you could offer money, then go for Symbiosis Centre for Health care, Pune since returns are always good, if you study there.

Forensic Dentistry/odontology requires proper handling, examing, evaluating the dental remains of the dead person, to identify the bite marks etc.,
Scope: In Law Enforcement agencies, Police dept. Defence, Govt.Investigation service, and private detective agencies.

Hi, Both are good options if you are looking for a change from dental. Especially MBA. I feel MBA would do better. You have good career scope with MBA and the Pay package after completion of course is comparitively awesome.
Forensic in also not bad either, if you are looking for an interesting career in Investigation departments like CBI, Police service and others.

I believe, Determination determines the career, not the course.

and now these days there is a lot of job option in this sector
and also there is very good income or salary,so you can do it,

In my opinion you should go out for MBA in Hospital Administration.This is a fine option.Some of the good colleges are:
Apollo Institute of Hospital,National Institute of management(Correspondence),Dravidian University,Chaitanya degree and PG college,Ramchandra University and many more.

You don't have to n worry because you have lot of option after BDS

Dental department in hospital ,nursing home need the services of Dentist.
you can also self employ yourself by private practices .


There are various other resources like Dental Assistance but these will not provide you with P.G degree
anyways doing MDS is the best choice after BDS.
