i am studing mcaII year what is my future after doing MCA?

If you are studying MCA then be sure that it will provide you the best.

Study the subject in which you have interest,which you want to study.

Make the subject of study your passion not burden,dont think you negetive,just be posistive.


MCA has a promissing career prospect in India,since the market is healing now it is expected to employ near about 1.5 lacs IT proffessionals till 2012.

Dont worry,complete your MCA with good percentage.

basically MCA certificate is consider as an MBA certificate so after completing your MCA you can go for job in any IT industry and you will be paid equivalent to paid to an employ who has the MBA qualification i.e more than 1 lacks....

Coming to the career prospects after MCA,
1) You can Join as a S/W engineer with a prospect of becoming a project Manager in 6-10 years.

2) You can become a lecturer teaching computer applications.

3) You can do a Phd in computer applications.

Though the options 2 and 3 are available 99% of the MCA's will go for option 1.

MCA is recongnized as equivalent to MS in computers in USA. So, in future if you come to US you will be treated as a masters instead of a Bachelor's.

MCA is a Techno Managerial course, if the IT industry doing good then enter into it otherwise sharp up Managerial skils and enter into any other industry along with MBAs... for the 2 options you need to promote your self in the managerial context..i.e at least co releate some of the managerial subjects which you studied in your MCA with curent job requirement.

I m a b-tech 1st year mechanical student.I have no more interest on it. i m a special interest on mca. what can i do?

i m a b-tech 1st year mechanical student.i m no more interst on it. i want to do mca in NICE of our locality.

I have done .net language after mca. Now i am in confusion because after mca i can go in teaching line. With teaching line i want to start a buisness with my brothers. Because i live in a small city.there are many engineering college in my city where i can start teaching line.but a corporate line in a company is also good future for me. So what should i do. I go for software company or i should start my buisness with my brothers with teaching line.

i have heard that the companies look for good graduation marks inspite of having scored a good percentage in mca. Is it really so??many get rejected due to dis reason...it's really very demoralising for students who come to know about this fact after getting into the course...

There are huge career opportunities in computers. So don't worry. As India is leading in IT the demand for IT professionals are always going to remain high..
The opportunities in the field are unlimted at present.
So do't worry!!!!!

Duration for MCA is three years.after mca you may join in m.tech.this is good in now a days.or you may get job in software company.But remember one thing that now a days many students who are studying mca are not interested to join in m.tech.but m.tech is good to mca students also..If you interested to join in m.tech,you may join.otherwise you can go to job.

In the recent years demand for MCA is coming down as the professionals of B.Tech/B.E are increasing and due to the recession.

Ofcourse companies take MCA professionals too....but its better to get a job in campus placements itself when you are in 3rd year through college.
Remember that your chance to get job decreases year by year after you pass.(i am saying about the passouts).i mean if there is a passout of 2010 he finds difficult to get a job after 2011 because there will be 2011 passouts along with you in competition....

And teaching field is always a good option

Since you are about to complete your graduation it is the right time for you to make a choice.
The choice made by you should depend on your own interest.
Before taking any decsion first you should see that what you want to become in your coming years.
If you have interest in management than you can do MBA and get good job.
But if you have very much nterest in computers it would be better for you to do MCA than MBA. after MCA you will become equivalent to BTEch student.
It will be time taking process so all depend on you resources.
Any graduate can do MBA but selected can do MCA.
