For getting into IIT's through GATE, one should required to score at least 600 marks and 96 percentile in GATE.

However it also depends upon the Course you are selecting for, but the requirement will be the same.

It also depends upon from which category due you belons from as there is relaxtion for SC/ST/PH and OBC candidates.

dear friend for getting scholarship in MTech you have to obtain minimum 25 marks in GATE exam.
& for your kind infomation i let you inform that the admission procedure in IIT's based on GATE score not on the basis of rank, so if you obtain GATE score appx 650 you will sure get a chance to take addmission in different IIT's.

Search at iit website.You need a score of above 50/100 to score in iit,plus to get scholarships.

the gate score should be above 500

you should get above 850 for direct call admission.
minimum you have to get 550 to get a valid branch.,25 marks out of 100.

hello friend,according to my knowledge if your rank will be with in 1000 then you definitely get chance in any of iits.and your scholar ship depends upon your merit.it varied 8000-12000.

It is more then 600 marks and the percentile should be more then 96.

Then he/she qualified for the scolaship in the IIT's.

First of all let me know your qualification or the course you want to opt for, from a foriegn country.

You have provide us the proper details as it is the most important factor before searching for if any.

Scholarship offered by any Trust, NGO's can bare the travelling cost but cant say about any university if there.

CUT-OFF SCORES FROM VARIOUS INSTITUTIONS

Each institute has its own cut off percentage in the GATE score. We are trying to get information regarding
the history of cut-off scores from all institutions. We will be putting in that information as soon as it comes
available. For now, here is the information we have gathered so far.

1. Typical cut-off scores:

1. Above 96 Percentile: IITs., IISC
2. Between 85-96 Percentile: NITs (previously called as RECs)
3. Less than 85 perentile: Other institutes

PERCENTILE CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION AT IIT DELHI

Degree: M.Tech.[ Full time Direct admission]
Minimum Eligibility:
B.Tech./M.Sc. or equivalent with very high GATE score and : (a) CGPA of 8.5 or 75% marks in aggregate for general
category; or (b) CGPA of 7.5 or 70% marks in aggregate for SC/ST category.

There are no age limits or any restriction on age so you can appear any number of times..
so prepare hard..
