my gate score is 412 in CS .Could i get in Banaras university .

i dont think so,the competition for cse is really very strong and your score is an below average score so i dont think so that you cam make it to bhu

bhu is the one of the most reputed colleges in India and almost the best students come an take admission here,
there is no way that you can get admission in bhu with your gate score ,you should have an gate score of at least more than 600 to think about having admission in bhu,
any ways you can get admission some colleges like andhra university

Your GATE score is 412 that means your percentage is 41.2% and the required percentage for getting into IT-BHU is 90+ as because it is one of the IIT's.

However,you can get into following institutes:-

WBUT,West bengal.

ICFAI,institute of Technology.

AIMS,Banglore.

Pailan group of Institutions.

Amity University (Not sure).

Aligarh Muslim University (You can get there easily if you belongs from any backward community).

ETC.

Dear your question is incomplete,you have'nt mentioned for which branch are you talking about?

Your score is 383 and rank is 10022,but in which branch. If you are talking Computer science,then you wont get admission into IIT's or NIT's

However, able to get into other institutes like-

WBUT,West bengal.

SRM University, Kattankulathur.

Kalasalingam University, Anand Nagar.

Amrita School of Engineering under (Amrita Vishwa Vidya Peetham University).

Noorul Islam College of Engineering.

PSG College of Technology, comimbatore.

I can think of IIT's for you, thats because at least 96 percentile would be required for it.check out if you recieve letter from there.Other wise You can expect following institutes:-

All NIT's

Amity University, Delhi.

Aligarh Muslim University,Aligarh

Jadavpur University,West bengal.

BESU,West bengal.

Heritage Institute of Technology,West bengal.

Mumbai Institute of Technology, Mumbai.

Cochin University.

I am sorry but your score is not enough to get admission in BHU CS. There is tough competition and you will need 96-98% to ensure a seat. But there are a lot of other good universities and colleges and you can very well try there. I am sure you will get a good one.

you should get above 850 for direct call admission.
minimum you have to get 550 to get a valid branch.
this is last year last year status.

for a score of 850 and above,you get a direct call,while for less than that ranking upon interview is done.

BHU is one of the finest university in india and for geting admission in mtech program is very tough you have to score very well in the exam like you have to score at least 99 percentile to get the BHU.

this year the cut off was at 550.
you have to go through their hr entrances and with you b.e marks which should be above 60%,you can vie for admission.
they take a interview too.
search at their homesite also

Its really hard to get admission as the seats of CSE is filled earlier means to say the best ranks will be placed in this institute first.So its hard to get admission here.

from any department,minimum score is 25/100.
you have to score that.

prior,i have told a score of 550 also.

because you scored a less and the seats in cse branch would be filled earlier with top rank holders

To get into the BHU you must have to score 98 percentile ....

Sorry dear you can not fetch a seat in BHU-IT because for general candidate at least 600+ score along with 98% in GATE is required for it.

Yeah may be cutoff allows you to apply, but the selection will be for superior ones.

However, being an OBC candidate can relax you to some extent, while being a SC/ST candidate there will be relaxation to greater extent.

b.h.u is a national level institution,students studing there must have to compete nationally,and ur score is not up to that mark,bt wt is past is past, bt rember futur is still in ur hand ,get admisson in other coll,and always remember "knowledge is power"

as you know BHU is a very good institute.so it requires more than 95 percentile for admission in CSE branch.

as you don't have such percentile, soyou can't get admission in BHU.

you can try in other institutes.
