hi,i m doing on final year BE EEE.i wants to govt jobs in my field.
i want to join only in public sector.

EEE a core side stream hence there are many job opportunities in the industrial side but the competition level is high and only the tough ones are selected.There are many companies from Government sector which you can try out for but first develop your knowledge in technical side and aptitude part for getting selected.

Some of the PSU's which you can apply for are:-
NTPC, BEL, BHEL, ISRO, HAL, SAIL, BSNL, GAIL, Power Grid .etc

All these companies conducts their examinations separately for recruiting Engineers from various streams.Presently I have mentioned a few companies which are from your core side.The notifications of all the companies will be published in the "Employment News".Each company conducts their own examination at different time but the selection pattern remains the same i.e written test in selected cities followed by interview and medical test.

The above site contain the list of PSU's along with the their websites.You can even go through the IES examination conducted by the UPSC for entering into various sectors like
Defense, Railways, Aviation sector,.etc.Remember this examination is much tougher than the GATE examination.You can even go through exams conducted by your State Public Service Commission like Genco and Transco examinations.Go through your State's PSC website for more details.

EEE department is core department of the industry.so you have good chances for govt sector.

After B.Tech in ECE , you have lots of scope in govt sector like BSNL , MTNL , DRDO , SAIL , BHEL , BALCO ,State Electricity Board , Airport Authority of India Ltd , GAIL , BARC ,ISRO, ONGC ,NTPS etc.

Oher govt jobs are BANK PO exam and UPSC exam etc.

Also you are eligible for off-campus of TCS ,CTS ,IBM ,WIPRO , HP,ACCENTER,INFOSYS etc.

If you have to go for higher study . Then the options are JRF , SRF , MS , MBA ,M-TECH ,PHD etc.

But you must be qualify in GATE or MAT or CAT exam and your academic marks should be above 60% for applicable above higher study.

SAIL is going to conduct entrance exam for B.Tech(EEE) graduates.

Those students graduated in EEE engineering they have lot of jobs in government sector.
