Sir, what is the actual height and weight limit in the NDA? Can you please tell me. would 5.2 half feet could enter in the academy or not?

NDA or National Defence Academy Exam is commenced by UPSC every year.

Upcoming NDA Exam will be commenced on 17 April, 2016.

However, last date to apply for this NDA Exam is over now.

Height limit varies with the weight to be eligible for NDA Exam.

As per height criteria, you are not eligible for NDA exam.

I have attached one document where you can find out the physical criteria for NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

You must be 10+2 passed or appearing for NDA exams. Age limit is 16.5-19.5 years. Only unmarried male candidates can apply for exam.

Minimum acceptable Height is 157 cms.

Your height is 5 feet and 2 inches which means 157.48 cms. You can apply for exam and you must have acceptable Body mass index that is weight to height ratio.

Yes, you will be eligible to apply for NDA with a height of 5'2.5".

NDA stands for National Defense Academy.It has three wings;

Indian Military Academy.

Indian Naval Academy.

Indian Air Force Academy.

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam :-

Nationality : Indian.

Age limit :16.5 years to 19.5 years.

Marital Status : Unmarried male candidate only.

Edu. qualification : 10+2 for Indian Military Academy and 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics for Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.

Selection process :

Written examination

Personal interview by SSB.

Physical requirements :

Height : Must not be less than 157.5 cms.

Weight : should be in proportionate with height.

Chest: Must not be less than 81 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.

Eye Sight : 6/6 in both eyes .

NDA is the National Defense Academy examination recruitment and this the defense services examination which is appeared after the 12th class and there are certain eligibility criteria required to appear for this NDA recruitment and some of the requirements for this NDA examination are.

Required Eligibility Criteria for NDA

1. Should have born between 2nd July 1997 to 1st July 2000
2. Should possess 12th with Maths and Physics for Indian Navy and Air force and any branch of study for Indian Army vacancy
3. Should belong to the citizen of India only and only male candidates are eligible
4. Un married candidates are only eligible and Physically fit

Candidates qualifying following physical conditions :

Running : 2.4 km in 15 min

Skipping

Push ups & sits ups : 20 each (min)

Chin ups : 8 (min)

Rope Climbing : 3-4 meters

Height and weight limit to enter NDA.

Height shouldbe a minimum of 157.5Cms
Weight shouldbe in correlated with the Height of the candidate
Age should lies in between 16.5 to 19 years
