Eligiblity for Assistant Commandent:

1.Nationality :Indian

2.Sex :Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for appointment to the
post of Assistant Commandants in CRPF and CISF. However, for appointment to the post of Assistant Commandants in BSF, ITBP and SSB, only Male candidates are eligible.

3.Age Limits :A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years .the maximum of five years relaxation for SC/ST and for OBC 3years.
For Government Servent 5 years relaxation.

4.Qualification :Candidate should be graduate.

CPF Assistant Commandants Exam 2011 Educational Qualifications

Minimum Educational Qualifications :

A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or posses an equivalent qualification.

Union Public Service Commission has announced the dates for Central Police Forces (CPF) examination, which will be conducted in November 2012. The CPF exam will be held on Sunday,November 11, 2012.

CPF examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to the Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Police Forces (CPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

CPF 2012 Eligibility Criteria

Degree of a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.

Candidates appearing in the degree exam are allowed to appear at the exam but are required to submit proof of passing along with the Detailed Application Forms which are to be submitted after qualifying the written test, medical standards test and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET).

Assistant Commandants Entrance Exam is also Known as Central Police Forces Entrance Exam.This exam is conducted by the UPSC .Bot Male and Female Candidates are eligible to apply for this exam.Through this exam,candidates can apply for jobs in different categories of forces.These are as follows :-

• Male Candidates can apply for CISF,CRPF,SSB,BSF,ITBP.
• Female candidates can apply only for CISF and CRPF.

Educational qualification required :-

• Data Interpretation.
• General Awareness.
• Conceptual Reasoning.

Paper II - 150 Marks and Duration will be 2 hours (Conventional Type)

• Essay Writing.
• Precise Writing.
• Solving English comprehension passages.
• Writing Notes and Summary on the given passages.

Note :- Conventional type questions means all questions will be subjective type and you will have to give its answers in your own words with your own hands.

For the post of Assistant Commandant,you have to clearupsc conducted CAPF examination.

The eligibility criteria is as follows:

1)The candidate who has obtained a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline recognized by the government are eligible to apply for CAPF.

Age limit is 20-25 with age relaxation for the different castes.(reserved castes)

The candidates who have already been once selected on the basis of CAPF exam earlier cannot apply for the exam.
