how do i apply for CPT test which is going to be held in 2013?

Common proficiency course(CPT) is an entry level course.firstly you have to apply for the CPT registration by pursuing the brochure available at all various branches of ICWAI.

Usually the CPT test is held twice in an year,once in june and again in december.
For the benifit of students ,the facility of online submission for CPT registration has also been started and you can log on to the official website
www.icai.org/cptform.html
The cpt registration fee must be submitted along with the application form.

Since you want to apply for the exam in 2013,the notification will release in the month of april or may first week and the exam will be in june.another exam will also be there at the end of the year.

The following documents should be enclosed along with the application form:

1.The Demand Draft for the whole amount drawn in favour of "The Secretary,Institute of Chartered Accountants of India".If you apply through online.then you should pay through a credit/debit card.
2.Attested copy of class X pass certificate.
3.Attested copy of class XII pass certificate.
