Foundation Course: Intermediate Course:

Hello Sir,
The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India allows both +2 qualified and graduates to enroll for the program. Since your daughter is not a graduate yet, she will have to register for the Foundation Course. The second stage of the course is called Intermediate Course which is followed by Final Course. graduates in any discipline are eligible to enroll directly for the Intermediate Course.
As you have mentioned that your daughter is pursuing IInd year of her bachelors degree program, I would suggest you to get her enrolled for the foundation program because by the time she will graduate, she would complete the foundation program of the ICWAI and this way, she will be able to complete the course earlier.
The institute offers the course through distance as well as oral coaching in the regional councils.

The following is the procedure to apply ICWAI course.

To get admission to icwa you have to first enroll urself foundation course if

you have done 10+2 otherwise you can directly go for the next level.

then u have to fill the registration form which is at their website

there u will get all the details regarding admission to icwa

Since she is still pursuing her graduation she will be eligible only for the foundation course. She can send an application to ICWAI and request for a prospectus. The cost for the same is Rs 200/-. The cost of the course will be Rs 3500/-. Along with the application and the DD for these amount do send attested copies of the 12th marksheet and also proof of her age.

ICWAI conducts three level examination for
certificate in cost and management accounts.
The three levels of examination are called as
Foundation, Intermediate and Final level.
One can apply for foundation level after 12th.
If somebody has done graduation then he/she may
apply directly for Intermediate level otherwise
one needs to clear foundation level to be eligible
for Intermediate level.
To be eligible for final examination one needs to clear
Intermediate level examination.

Presently your daughter is in 2nd year of Graduation
so I would suggest her to apply for Intermediate level
examination after she completes her graduation.

CA course offered by ICWAI is on of the most reputed course.

minimum eligibility for the course is +2,

+2 pass candidates have to take CA from starting foundation level

while commerce graduates can directly enroll in intermediate level,

however for availing this option your daughter will have to wait for 2 more years.

so i would suggest that your daughter starts from foundation and then she can take

intermediate level next year. and final level just after passing.

this would result in best use of her time,

OR you may wait for 2yrs and after her graduation start from

intermediate level.

If you want to take admission in ICWAI foundation label then you have to pass 10th level exam. If you are a graduate then you can take direct admission in Intermediate level. For final level examination you have to pass Intermediate level.

I have just given B.com iii year exam. I am appearing from IGNOU. And now waiting for result. sir, may i able to take admission in ICWAI for intermediate exam?
